Findra is a very lovely little shop, cafe and community space. Not only do they sell very beautifully made clothing, they also sell very tasty coffee and cakes. The space has a lovely vibe, with good tunes and I was welcomed by such warm and friendly staff.Makes me smile to know such places exist in this world :-)

We met the owners of FINDRA at the local Beyond Borders International Festival happening at Traquair House. I've been a longtime fan of Icebreaker merino clothing and they were confident their stuff was better than so I was intrigued by their bold claim.Bought a men's long sleeve top and true to their word the Findra top was in fact far better than my trusty Icebreakers. The Findra top is so comfortable! Their wool appears to be a higher quality and they have some sort of seamless production method which I'm guessing also adds to the garment's extremely high comfort level.Next day, completely by chance I happened across their high street shop which is great. Naturally a lot more stock and choice than you would find at a Festival kiosk. Evidently it's an old police station but a hell of a lot more glamorous these days I'm guessing. The owners weren't in the shop but got to meet their assistant Isabella and had a great conversation.Bought two more pieces online the next day so I look forward to following this brand in the years to come. So long Icebreaker; enjoy your journey back to New Zealand :-)
