An excellent wee cafe/diner that caters mostly for passing lorry & bus drivers, but it's also popular with motorists too. Good basic grub at basic prices. Staff very friendly and efficient.

Food was amazing and great price. Very clean. Staff friendly and chatty. Only downside was, on the web page it said dogs allowed, but when we asked they said no. So we put dog back in car only to walk in and there was two dogs in the kitchen ????. Was disappointed. But still a great place for a good plateful of food at a great price.

Absolutely great little spot on the side of the highway. Restaurant has been open since the 60s and then new owners have taken over 24 years ago.
Had a full breakfast set which was very satisfying. The coffee was cheap but not the best.

Stopped here based on a recommendation. I used to live in the area and I had no idea until today this place existed. It has to be thee most charming cafe I have come across in years. It is billed as a truckers stop however it is clearly a favourite for non truckers. The place is filled with trucking memorabilia and as a former transport coordinator for an oil company, I was in heaven. The place is spotless,the girls are friendly and the small set breakfast was even too much for me! It was absolutely value for money and the corner sausage and black pudding were delicious. We will return,maybe for a meal in the afternoon. Well done guys and please....don't change the decor. It's fab

The Horseshoe is a transport cafe and caters mainly for lorry drivers. The food is excellent, all freshly prepared and plentiful portions. The prices are very reasonable. The cafe is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. The cafe welcomes all comers who want refreshments.
Excellent cafe, the car park is a bit rough due to the size of their average customer arriving in a 40 ton truck. Don?t let this put you off, if you want to take your car, be careful and park it out of the way of trucks and don?t cause obstructions. Bon appetite.
