A perfect lunch experience. Food that rekindles joy.
We had the pleasure of enjoying lunch today as a family of four, with our dog in tow and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, everything felt just right.
The space is immaculate, with a warm, modern, and relaxing decor that immediately puts you at ease. The staff were excellent; genuinely friendly, attentive, and welcoming to both us and our four legged family member.
We all chose different starters and mains, and every single dish was absolutely faultless. Each plate was a testament to the chef?s talent, flavours balanced beautifully, textures just right, and meat cooked to absolute perfection. It?s rare to say this, but we honestly couldn?t find a single thing to criticise, even if we tried.
A special word for the chef: thank you. You?ve reminded me just how amazing and pleasurable food can be. I?d been feeling completely uninspired by food lately, but this meal reignited that spark. Every element came together with thought, care, and genuine passion.
This place has got it right. Truly superb in every way. We?ll definitely be back.

A fantastic spot if you're planning a road trip around Scotland. It's conveniently located, about a 20-30 minute drive from Edinburgh city centre. This is a lovely, quiet B&B situated just off the main road.
We only stayed for one night on a Monday when reception was closed. However, I received all the check-in details via text message beforehand, which made getting in super easy and straightforward. I was a bit concerned about noise from the road with our window facing that way, but the soundproofing was really effective. The room itself was also a very good size

Went here due to our local being full.
And this was a gem of a place!!!! Absolutely lovely staff and the food was stunning!!! I had the steak pie? cooked to perfection? would highly recommend !!!
