Lovely sandwiches, great welcome, even for us dripping wet walkers.

Lovely place to stop on the way to John o groats for a meal and a drink. Nice pleasant break by the river and harbour.

Sadly I never got any pictures inside but this is a lovely little cafe, you can sit inside or head out to the garden which is next to the river.
I ordered what I thought was a normal fruit scone (just raisins) but it included a lot more including lemon peel. There were almonds on the top which I missed and had to scrape off. The kids enjoyed their crepes though. A nice little place to sit and relax.

Came here as a quick stop for a Scottish breakfast, what we got was a raw crepe with raw mushrooms not very nice, cost £12 each! My daughter had a ham and cheese crepe £6.50! Very quiet no music , over priced for what you get sorry

Despite their website and Google saying they were open we found this place shut - they had changed to winter (Nov - Mar) hours a week before. Tues 2-4pm Sat & Sun 10am - 3pm. Google didn't accept my edit to their opening hours so be aware. See picture I posted of the hours on their window.

Simple but the pancakes are nice and fresh, just small snacks that are nothing to complain about.

Nice to sit in the garden on a nice day like today. Was a bit pricy for what you get
