Found this place on maps so thought it only fair to add a review. I popped in for a quick drink to see what it would be like. The place was busy when I arrived, a party going on upstairs, they were happy for me to sit at the bar. I was on my own, so I preferred that, tbh. The staff were fantastic, chatty but busy. I?d the Chicken Pakora delicious. Wish I wish I could have eaten more as the other food going out of the kitchen looked tasty, as did the Pastel de Nata. I stayed for several more gins before heading home. Thanks to Deborah, she never stopped in the hour and a bit I was there and never let me run dry!

We had dinner at the Riverhill twice while staying in Helensburgh.
The burger, chicken burger, fish n chips, soup of the day and the roasted vegetables were all very good while using fresh ingredients.
The servers were excellent. 100% recommend!!

Wonderful family brunch enjoyed here with guests from ages 5 to 85 and something on the menu for everyone to enjoy. Great food, good portion sizes and great service from all ... Including the kitchen who were super kind with the littles on exit x

Overpriced poor quality pub food.
I had a baked potato that was probably fine when it was cooked, but that was quite a while ago. What remained was dried up and lukewarm. The microwaved skin was like leather. The cheese, smoked haddock and leek was there? just. Not worth the £13+ asking price. Far better places nearby.

Have been to Riverhill many times but lunch yesterday was a disappointment. I ordered the fish tacos. Always my favourite but this time they weren't nice. The batter was too thick and the fish tasted strange. I ate half of one and that was enough. My husband had the fish and chips. Perfect. I ate most of his chunky chips. We told the waiter about the tacos and he said he would speak to the chef but we didn't get any feedback. It's a shame as it's a good restaurant
