“I've been a regular at this Co-op for years. It's clean and dependable, with great discounts and a unique international section. The self-checkout usually works well and they offer a wide variety of goods, including tech, cleaning, bakery, and freezer items, along with a large alcohol and dairy section. However, their reward points system could be better - it's hard to earn points unless you're buying a lot. Also, quality meat can be pricey. Despite these minor issues, I'd still rate this Co-op 4.5 stars.”
“I've frequented this Tesco for some time, enjoying the wide range of goods like meats, snacks, and a commendable dairy selection. They even have a neat discount section. Staff are consistently friendly and ready to assist. However, the store could seriously benefit from a tech update. Issues at self-checkouts and lengthy contactless payments can be frustrating, especially for the tech-savvy. It's great for standard shopping, but be ready for potential tech glitches.”
“Small local shop with a basic stock of the most needed items, nothing major. Friendly and helpful staff, and I believe they have both paypoint and lottery facilities, the store clerk was also able to help when my electricity smart card wasn't working, turns out you can still top them up without needing the card or for it to work properly, all you need is the long number from the front of the card”
“Great staff awesome food just what I wanted I could never imagine a shop to be so good staff are funny and they have toilets everything is just out of this world I even love the smell I can't help it write this review I just loved it although they could get some more stuff but everything is still out of this world would definitely recommend”
“What lovely folk and super service. Well stocked and great fresh produce. And the off licence is fab...plenty of choice. Well worth a stop off for groceries. Thank you ☺️”

“Before you get excited and go looking for Tesco, I should point out that this really is just a slightly overgrown convenience store. However that said, it's a very useful asset to the town and provides a little competition to what would otherwise be a monopoly for the Co-op. I'd say that this store is fine if you're just looking for everyday groceries, and has enough to do even a weekly shop if you don't want anything too sophisticated, but it's not the place to go if you expect to fill a trolley with exotic foods. The checkout area is fairly cramped and seems to be geared up to basket shoppers rather than large trollies (like the rest of the shop, really), but staff are generally fairly cheerful (perhaps they get extra Clubcard points) and the store is bright and clean. Main disadvantage is that although the location is very central, you are likely to struggle to park outside so if you buy a months supply of cat food, you'll have to lug it some distance back to the car!”

“I was on a day trip to Helensburgh and popped in to buy a few things. This is a larger superior store with a very good stock range.Price wise they are no different to similar retailers in that they are maximizing opportunities to hike prices. How necessary or fair this is, is subject to great debate in the current crisis. Supermarkets and discount stores are blaming manufacturers for using the current situation to their advantage. We will never get an honest answer to that question. Result is that prices are generally 25-30% higher, especially on staple daily use items like bread and milk, thus, Farmfoods and a host of others are no longer the cheaper price havens we once enjoyed.”
