Me and a colleague were working in glasgow away from home and stopped here as it was one of the few places open at this time after having a late finish.
We walked in and were immediately met by who I can only assume is the owner, had a lovely conversation. Pleasant staff and owner seemed like a great guy. Talked about how we were from Leeds as he picked up on our accents, and started talking about food and general chit chat.
The food was amazing, great portion sizes he threw in a couple of freebies (which is always a bonus) and generally looked after us.
My colleague had a specific request about a curry that was not on the menu, he explained to us a similar curry and how it is cooked. He let us know that he could change that to get to a curry that is what he wanted. He went out of his way to adjust the menu so we got exactly what we wanted.
Cannot recommend enough, 5 stars!

Great tasty food. Karahi curry was salty sweet great body to the sauce. Nan sizes that would rival those in Bradford. Varied menu. Would recommend. Everything from curry dishes. Kebabs and pizzas!

10/10 Amazing! incredible value for money!! I strongly recommend the big box value meal, this serious feeds a whole family and No where on this earth can find value for money and delicious food at £25!! From Surrey, highly recommend this business for take out!!!!!

Was really hungry ordering first time , check that people like to eat there and very good food but seriously after today I will avoid this resteraurant with raw dough not cooked properly that I eat first slice of calzone and make me sick and pizza is smelly any sticky that mean there are using not clean enough plates for pizza. Paid 33£ for both really really bad and don?t accept my ask for refund

Was recommended to try this placeNot impressed!! And not sure why I was charged £30. 12 inch chicken tikka pizzaLarge nan with donner meat and chips2 cans juice. Highly over rated and claim to be best Indian takeaway in the UK.Place is dirty looking don't waste your money very very poor.

The house of shah in Hamilton is bye far the best takeaway in Lanarkshire in all ways the service is first class and the staff could not be any more helpful they go over and above n even got me a taxi home wen I was in there intocsicated and they actually called me a taxi and helped me into the taxi as I have epilepsy

The house of shah is a small Indian takeaway situated near Hamilton bus station and as soon as you walk past it even if your some guy called Greg in California your going to get a beautiful whiff of their food when their open, the food and the staff are lovely and very welcoming, it?s like you?ve known them for 10 years their that friendly. 10/10 :DKid-friendliness: Luckily for kids there?s no spikes that protrude out the ground to prevent any underage kids from walking in, so that means even wee jimmy can walk in and get his very own Donna Kabab from house of shah ?.

Went down hill a bit? Curry was full of oil and nowhere near enough chicken. Rice clearly reheated and not fresh atall. Didn't enjoy this meal, usually food is excellent. Come on guys, what's going on?
