Went to get a monitor for the boy. Muhammed was the young gentleman that helped us. He spoke really well, was very knowledgeable and went our his way to get things right for us. Couldn't have been happier with the service. He Included my boy in the conversation as its xbox we were looking to buy a monitor for. Ended up buying a headset and a battery pack aswell. Credit to currys and his parents.

We went to get some headphones and in the store had some models on display, we looked the JBL tune 2, with that priced as £39.99 (for both black and white colour) based on price tag under them. Went on till, asked for the product and Stuart (a middle aged man in case he was used the name tag of a colleague) brought 2 models of those headphones, the JBL tune and tune 2. Checked the price of both and said the tune were 39.99 and tune 2 59.99. Pointed out their display had the tune 2 as 39.99 and Stuart was told by his manager if that?s true to match the price. Stuart fought with his life to blame us for the wrong price tag as ?It?s our mistake for not checking? and ?That?s not the right price for those models on display, so he can do nothing?. This back and forth was going for almost 5 mins but finally on the question ?How am I supposed to know right price if the tag is not the right one? he called his manager, Liam, where he proceeded on doing the price match and changing the price tags to the right ones.

I was in the store last week to swap over my phone from a Samsung to an iPhone and get a sim only deal. First went on the Monday and was told that to transfer photos and numbers etc from a Samsung to an iPhone I needed a ?technical guru? that was only going to be in on Thursday from 12pm until 8pm. So I returned on Thursday at 3pm and the staff tried to transfer my data. I was told to go away and come back in 30 mins, after 30 mins I got a phone call saying it would be a further 20 minutes. Following the 50 minutes i got another call saying that the photos transfer would take 6 hours and that the so called ?guru? had already left. Instead I returned home where my teenage daughter was able to transfer everything including photos within 10 minutes. She is a school student and by no means a technical guru. Despite being frustrated I returned to get my sim only deal the same day and had to wait 40 minutes because the only person in the shop that could sell a phone was selling a washing machine at that moment. After the 40 minutes I was able to get my deal and was told my phone would be activated within 24-48 hours. Upon returning home I realised I had been lied to and it wouldn?t be transferred for another 4 days. This experience lasted 4 hours that day and I find this an unacceptable lack of customer service. Despite trying to express my concerns to the manager in store they were ignored and I was told to just sit and wait while the staff took no complaints or criticism on board.
Very disappointing from the Hamilton store.
