Staff were excellent, especially the young girl behind the counter on 16/08, who was extremely helpful.
We had takeaway and the quality, flavour, quantity and price of the food was first class.
Will recommend to our friends when in the area.

My brother introduced this lovely bistro to us a couple of years ago. He used to take his Wife who had MS to visit all the time. Sadly we were visiting Greenock for her funeral this week. We were staying at Gleddoch house hotel but opted out of eating breakfast there to eat here. The staff were very friendly both to us Humans and our little dog, there is even a doggy menu which on this occasion resulted in our Willow being hand fed a couple of link sausages! There is always a nice atmosphere in the place and it will continue to be a go to for our trips to Greenock.

Absolutely horrid service you would think I'm in the middle of Larkfield with the way the employess act. Constant cheek and backchat get them sorted!! Food was cold and way too greasy aswell I could change my cars oil with the amount that comes on your cooked breakfast ???

had the flu so for over a week been living on takeaway. Just got a lovely meal, steak pie for my brother and enchilada for me. Best meal we've had all week! Arrived warm and at the time expected, well packaged. Cold and Hot food separated.

Visitted today and ordered sandwiches. They came with crisps on the side and a small tub of coleslaw, without any salad and appeared so bland. Grossly overpriced.

I found a little gem of a place to meet and eat here in Greenock.
The staff all appear committed to giving you a good experience when visiting The Cottage.
I had Tuna mayo baked potato and it came with a gorgeous salad.
I would definitely recommend a stop here if passing through or visiting the James Watt Dock.
Parking: I visited on my powerchair as I am disabled, but parking didn't look a problem at all.
Kid-friendliness: There isn't a section here for it but...
The Cottage is Doggy Friendly ??
Wheelchair accessibility: I haven't used yhe toilet facilities yet, but plenty of room and access for my mid-wheeled power chair

Highly recommend the cottage cafe bistro. Treated my mum and sisters to afternoon tea and it was absolutely delicious, the sandwiches and cakes were so fresh ,definitely worth what we paid for. The presentation of how it was set up was fabulous and the service we received was excellent. My family and I would definitely come back here.

Just perfect for brunch when stopping at James Watt Dock Marina. We were American, Dutch and English and we were all happy with our food and drinks.

Ordered a meal from Clyde Eats (cost approx £40) for 4 items. Took over 2 hours to arrive. Not impressed.
