Visited tonight. Food excellent and very good service. Will definitely return again. Great getting 20% off our bill.
Looking forward to seeing new menu.

Great food, lovely decor and very attentive staff.
Unfortunately we watched Wrong Jovi right after and words can't describe just how terrible and disjointed the band was. Haven't laughed so much watching the bouncer having to stand and save female audience members from the guitarist and not the other way round. ?
Good point to take from this is The Albany will continue to serve great food and keep the atmosphere in the restaurant.

At a funeral five of us sitting at the overspill table waitress tells us we all need to sit at various tables or they would charge the family more,we decided we would just leave and then told oh just stay were yous are very embarrassing and not very professional.

Was in today for an afternoon tea...lovely finger sandwiches with various fillings...2 small scone with cream and jam(1 was a little hard but eatable) then came a tasty selection of petite cakes all washed down with a pot of tea. Great value for £12.50 ppHowever the only fault with our experience (which is major for us) it was absolutely freezing and when surveying the rest of the room 7 out of 10 tables were actually sitting with their coats on too....so if your going to eat out there any time soon please wrap up warmly.

BOYCOTT THE ALBANYFamily are planning an 80th party for my nana and decided to book the Albany way in advance in November for the end of this month. To everyone's shock the Albany made the decision to double book a 21st party but in their decision placed the 21st party in the function room ( that we booked for my nana) and decided to put us up the stairs in the restaurant that has no room for anything, all without asking permission or even letting anyone know that's what they did! On top of that, she lied to my sister and me about phoning my aunt to let her know about the change. My aunt had no idea that anything had been changed. How arrogant and unprofessional do you have to be to do that to your paying customers?!I thought the whole point in a deposit was to secure the hall that you book ?When confronted with this matter the events manager of the Albany only had that " it wasn't her problem" to say. RUDE MUCH!!?This place is unprofessional and their attitude towards paying customers is disgusting.I advise anyone planning to book any sort of event to steer well away from the Albany as they clearly can't be trusted to secure your special day, whatever it may be.

We booked as a family of 5 after spending a lovely Christmas Day at The Albany 2 years ago. The portions then were plentiful and food was excellent then. Sadly on this occasion it wasn't the same. The salmon and prawn starter was nice but the melon had some kind of sauce like tzatziki which 2 of our party didn't like. The main issue was the main course. The turkey seemed reformed as every slice was exactly the same in thickness and size. It didn't look like it had been carved at all. The stuffing appeared manufactured as it was all of us had the a perfect circle with the same thickness and it had no taste. The pigs in blankets were so undercooked none of our party ate them. The staff however were excellent, the quality of food was not their fault. Sadly we won't be back to spend Christmas at the Albany.

Visited on Christmas day for a family dinner. We were a group of seven including a child. Angela had arranged a table for us when we booked. It was spacious with plenty room around us. Meal was lovely with a good set of choices pre booked. Staff were fantastic, friendly and efficient especially in the circumstances with a sitting all starting at once. All in all a great experience was had by us all. Thanks to all the team who were on duty.
