To many shops closed should lower rent rates at least might encourage new people to. Open shops up would be better than all shops lying empty

Poundland is now the second largest shop in this dump before Primark. No toilets and the ceiling has been leaking at the same place for about 4 years. I blame Inverclyde Council and the rise of internet shopping. What's the point of shopping locally in such a run-down centre when you can hop on Amazon.co.uk and get one of Jeff Bezos' hazard light pavement blocker mobiles to deliver the item the next day for cheaper. Get the bulldozer out.

This place is a shambles coming from someone who has lived here since the cobble stone days away back when woolworths and other good shops where there now everything is a pound shop or an Indian shop?!, makes you wonder why all these cruise ships even bother to stop at Greenock lol for what?, Primark?, Not even a decent shop for a man to buy clothes in!, Seriously that's the best the place can do the council would be better to shut it all down because they have ruined a once decent town centre nobody else but them!, I hope you are proud Municipal buildings Greenock!. DISGRACEFUL!...

Unfortunately more and more shops are leaving here for one reason or another. Shopping centres now seem to be about parking your car a minimum distance from the store so walking is reduced rather than taking them through a covered area to a car park not in the immediate are. Many of the shops that were once here have now moved to Port Glasgow ??

Great choice of retail, banking and cafe premises, there are a few empty units which I suspect was in the aftermath of the pandemic but, still a lot to offer.

Sadly not the best shopping experience for us. Although only in Greenock for short time we visited the centre to see if there was anything that we fancied. Sadly not, the shop varieties are poor, the centre appeared half closed and dilapidated on our visit. We actually spent no money at all there, instead went to Tesco nearby to buy some bits and pieces. This appears to be the way many shopping centres are going. Sad when you can remember the vibrancy of these sites in the 1970's-1990's. Won't be back.
