It is a pretty good store, clean and tidy inside. It is also easy to navigate. There are many items for sale. Good prices too, on things like sides or salads, meats, sushi, tins and cans, sodas and drinks. There are also weekly foods from around the world, like Eastern Europe, American, Chinese, etc. Checkout is also quick and easygoing. Plenty of parking here too, and it is near the town centre. I highly recommend.

I shopped in Lidl today, 3/03/24. I saw that avocados were on sale with one box from Israel. Avocados grown in Israel are generally grown on illegally occupied territory and grown by Israeli settlers. Although it states on the label where they are from, most people will not examine this as the writing is so small. Israel should be boldly marked on the box so that people can have the choice of whether they want to support the slaughter of Palestinians or not. I think most of us would choose not to.
