Great experience of this particular branch over the years. Staff are always knowledgeable and credible in their views. Even had a pricing issue with another store and the Greenock store used their discretion and sorted it right out! So, I left a happy wee bunny ready to return.

Go in with my nephew so I don't really know wot I'm getting unless for him but staff are always eager to help - even told me I was buying wrong item for nephews computer and he could've just let me buy it. Very friendly too

Went in here one time just to look around I was the only one in the shop at the time the 2 members of staff looked a bit bored then started to talk to each other about a night out they started swearing at each other about something while I looked at their overpriced games that you can get cheaper online I found it unprofessional that they would swear while they had a customer in their shop.

Why anyone would ever trade in or buy at this store, or any other GAME, escapes me.
I used their website to get an idea of what I could expect when exchanging my wares. I'll assume it took my location into account as it asked for it during input. The sum given online was greatly reduced when arriving in store and the online point could not be argued.
Therefore I took the train to Paisley and went to CeX and in my case (train fare included) I came away with more, I stress much more, than the incompetents in Greenock offered.
And on CeX website, when I searched what I would expect to receive for what I was offering...inexplicably...amazingly...I got it.
GAME purportedly has a "we won't be beaten" policy but seems like you have to a hell of a lot of work to come close.
Why bother?
If only negative stars were possible, for this chain and especially this store with whom I've maybe dealt twice before.
