I wanted to buy a fridge, but no stock of the one I chose. I offered to buy the display one...no deal. Tried online other branches no stock . So I decided to order and collect from the store as it was for my church and access would be difficult. I was told that there would be a delivery charge when delivering to the store!!! A vehicle that was stocking the store and I was to pay delivery. On a point of principle I decided to order from another supplier a comparable fridge and FREE delivery.

Sales person who assisted us - very friendly and helpful.Currys in general - not so good. I had a poor experience with Currys some years ago and again today a very bad experience. Having bad experiences like this just do not in my opinion make for a regular return customer.

Very quiet Store, prices are ridiculous for items that are by enlarge surplus to requirement (no one needs a gold plated HDMI cable for domestic or even business use, and a cat5e network cable should be about 1/6th of the price). The extended warranty doesn't cover accidental damage anymore, and I would be very surprised if it's still open in another 5 years. Staff were helpful in navigating the isles of well packaged junk and vulnerable devices though.

My 90 year old mum went into Braehead store picked a new fridge. Was told not necessary to pay as I was going in next day to collect. It would be reserved with my name on it. I went at agreed time 1pm next day to find fridge had been sold via online system. My disgust is not that fridge was sold, but at the lack of effort to resolve the issue and have options for when I came in.Only option offered free delivery on Saturday. My mum was in Monday and I was in Tuesday.I sourced the fridge half hour away at another branch, ordered it online to ensure it was there and got it to my mums house. Terrible customer service, both from salesman (experienced) and store in general.
