I was very anxious about having my first eye test in a stupidly long time but immediately I was put at ease. Both Neil and Chriss were warm and professional and helped me no end! Highly recommended- I won?t go anywhere else.

Friendly and intelligent mature staff, who created a fantastic professional experience, helping me with veri focal glasses. Excellent help with a vast array of frames and a brilliant fitting experiance.I would certainly recommend them for the service and quick delivery. I?ve been a client at Aitchisons Opticians in Greenock for several years, and their service continues to impress. I recently returned for my check-up after receiving a helpful reminder by both email and letter?something my previous optician never did.
Neil, my optometrist, was outstanding. He was incredibly patient as I went back and forth during the examination, ensuring everything was done correctly. After all, it?s my eyesight, and accuracy is crucial. He asked plenty of questions, took the time to get to the root cause of my issues, and ultimately diagnosed me as short-sighted?a revelation that explained my struggles with glaring headlights at night.
After my examination, Neil introduced me to Chriss, the office manager, who was equally fantastic. As this was my first time getting glasses (and I?m admittedly quite fussy), Chriss was incredibly patient, helping me navigate my options. It came down to two pairs, and with her expert guidance, I chose the one that best suited my needs?at nearly half the price of the other! This kind of honest, customer-first approach showed me that Aitchisons isn?t just about making a sale; they genuinely care about their clients.
Chriss also introduced me to their service plan, explaining the benefits clearly without any pressure. After reading through the details, it was a no-brainer?discounts on accessories, reduced replacement costs if I break my glasses, a free OCT scan and the ability to build up credit toward a future pair.
Overall, my experience at Aitchisons Greenock has been nothing short of excellent. From their professionalism to their customer-focused approach, I can?t recommend them enough. Thank you, Aitchisons, for your top-notch service!
