Favorite pub in the UK! Yeah, I know, but the barkeep was just so damn funny and hospitable. Great banter, great whiskey, great pies and chips. This place is full of character and good times. Don?t miss it!

Robbie great bar man, great pies, great Whisky, great pub. We loved Robbie's banter and loved the welcoming feel good atmosphere of the pub.The legendary pies are apparently extremely tasty as we saw many people tucking in.

Very good pies accompanied by IPA beer or Guinness, the 13 Frenchmen all behind the bar for a photo with the boss before leaving. Great !!

Great place, with a landlord full of character. The pies are amazing and good value. Beer very well kept. A little gem in a world of brewery pubs that are all the same.

Absolutely fantastic beryl and Robbie great characters been coming up here for 26 years and it wouldn't be the same without this place we stay at muckrach castle but wouldn't stay without this bar ?
