When you visit Muchrach.. you feel their warmth and genuine care for one another as a family ? which lends the place a quiet serenity, a feeling of safety and cozy comfort that permeates the atmosphere. It?s the smells ofthe memory of childhood cotton candy, with the fresh after shower in the spring, the peals of laughters of children playing in the sun, with the quirky fabric scarfs you play around your necks in the fall, and the comforting substance of warm soups on winter nightsAnd perhaps, the cackling of woods in the fireplace, as you curl up under a wool blanket with a book.Because here, you are at home with ppl you can trust with your cares and rest.

We stayed in the Cairngorm Cottage. It was beautiful! We all really enjoyed our stay. House had everything you needed and was immaculate. Scenery stunning. The only thing I would change would be if one of the bedrooms had single beds for a family with children and a fan in the bedroom upstairs as it can get very warm. However excellent and hope to return in the future. Ps. Such a shame the hotel has closed as being able to walk across to the hotel for a lovely meal would have been perfect, we have had many lovely meals there before and happy memories. Hope you manage to open again one day ??

Afternoon tea in front of a roaring log fire. It was amazing . A little taster if soup in a cup and a haggis bon bon. Then scones, delicious sandwiches and the most amazing petite chocolate pattiseries. Sooooo delicious

Five random southern gentleman, looking completely out if place turn up in a Nissan micra with a flower livery. Walk in and they treat us like we were regular patrons. We have a lovely tea and coffee break. Wonderful service. 10 out of 10 will visit again. Also... triple ply toilet paper in the bathroom with rose and sandalwood soap...you're on to a winner guys

Stopped for tea and a pee. Very welcoming and lovely cuppa. Predictably pricey but a lovely venue.

My father and I stopped in here for tea on the way from Inverness to all the distilleries. We randomly came across it while google attempted to navigate us. We saw signs for tea etc and decided it looked like a great place to stop in. After we went through the front door and down the hallway a little bit we found a reception desk and inquired about dining. The lady was very nice and said that we could have tea in any of the common rooms we chose, so we headed back to the room we passed on the way down the hall (brown leather couches, fish statue on the bookshelf, was possibly the library) and about 5 minutes later a staff member showed up to take our order. She was quite pleasant and the couches were comfy. I will say it seemed like it took awhile to get the tea and biscuit but that didnt bother us, couldnt have been more than 15 minutes I think but I could be wrong. I do think they apologized for the wait but this was back in Oct so I am unsure 100%. The food and drink arrived and it was great. The best part was the company of their young yellow lab that joined us and was very patient and good despite his tail being a weapon against whatever was on the table. They did offer to remove the lab but he was no bother to us as we were plenty used to labs having grown up with them. I would like to actually stay there at some point if I ever return to Scotland for at least a night or 2. They did have brochures for some kool events at Christmas and new years that seemed delightful. Def recommend stopping by.

This place is magical! Stopped in because we saw the infamous hairy coos and received top notch service and food for lunch in a stunning location. The greater dog and decor is spot on
