Very disappointed with and very let down actually worse car dealer I have ever dealt with. My daughter?s mobility car a Vauxhall Corsa has been with yourselves 6 weeks tomorrow since the 19/07/25. Just recently got a courtesy car yesterday as there wasn?t any available so she has been without a mobility car all this time. Very poor customer service, from the phones ringing out, being put on hold for ages, being fobbed off with excuses, the parts department are on there lunch, they are in a meeting, they are stock taking, someone will call back, no phonecalls. Louise service advisor emailed her twice for updates no reply, going to find out about service no reply. Keep getting told waiting on parts coming but what 6 weeks!!! Surely not this length of time. Husband called on Tuesday phones ringing and ringing no-body answering as if they didn?t want to speak to us. Clearly other cars are getting repaired and my daughter?s car is just put on the back burner. Will never use Evans Halshaw again!!!

5 times I called only to be put on hold then they would cut the call off,one person actually spoke then put me on hold then transferred me to another person who picked up the phone and then put it down cutting me off,unfortunately my car has been recalled due to a fuel pipe problem, however it'll need to stay a problem as I won't be trying to call back.

I just brought a lovely vauxhall astra 1.2 turbo griffin edition 2021 model from this garage n gotta say people at the garage are amazing n extremely helpful n Chloe was the best sales person so I'm glad I brought the car from this garage

Called today to arrange for my car to be collected for repair was told I stay too far from the dealership and they won't collect... I was told when ordering the car through motability it would not be a problem to have it collected and returned obviously a lot of crap just to get a sale thanks BRIAN FOR TALKING CRAP I only stay about 10 miles from the dealership don't believe what they say

only one piece of advice don't buy from here, never been mucked about by a garage as much as I have in this instance wonder if my car will finally get fixed tomorrow or will they find something else that i need to wait on parts getting delivered to repair. 4th time car has been in for same thing and I've only had it for app 4 weeks...

Worst 65 days of my life. Looked at a used car on 23rd April, put a deposit down and was told it needed some work done on it and that I'd have communication over the following days and confirmation it would be ready for purchase on the 30th April. After calling multiple times over the coming days and no update I rang on the morning and told the car would be ready that afternoon, last minute having to get my insurance sorted which was not ideal.
After my bank holding my money for fraud, I should have taken this as a sign to walk away. Was in the showroom from 2pm until around 6:30pm and during that time had the occasional check in every 90 minutes seeing if it had went through but all they cared about was the sale.
Finally got the car, no petrol...drove and filled it up then drove home (less than 5 miles). Next morning, engine light on and drove it straight back to the garage.
11 days later, 18 phone calls, wasted insurance, tax and petrol money, I get my car back...for 15 minutes...until the engine light came back on.
Car back in the garage the next morning and no communication until 5:30pm when they told me they didn't know what was wrong and needed to keep it in. I told them I would like a refund on the car.
Spoke with the lead sales manger the next day and sent my details for a refund and said I would come in the next afternoon to drop off the spare keys of V5C. Get there, can't find the car to collect 1-2 things, 2 mechanics didn't know where the car was because it was hidden at the back of the forecourt. Was then told they couldn't accept the keys and V5C because it was taken to legal.
After talking to the lead sales manager the following day he arranged a driver to collect the keys and V5C on the Monday morning...From there I waited from 19th May (Monday) until 4th June to receive my refund. During which I still had tax and insurance running on the car which I had driven less than 10 miles.
Finally got my money and put in a complaint, to which was ignored for 2 weeks before I escalated it further. Got my fuel money back yesterday (3rd July) but doesn't remove the trauma of buying a first car, the hassle and the reminder never to buy a car from this dealership!

I've been driving for nearly 35 years and I've never had service as good as I received from Ben and Robert at Evans Halshaw in Falkirk when I came in to buy a 2nd hand car. From the moment I came in, there was no hard sell, just a genuine desire to treat their customers as well as they could.
I knew what I wanted, as they price their cars well, but they got it cleaned up, found the missing parcel shelf, fixed the glove compartment, handed it over with over 100 miles of petrol and even found me some floormats.
Unsurprisingly, they were worked off their feet, but nothing was too much trouble as I struggled with the payment software. They were always cheerful, chatty and genuinely interested in me getting a good experience.
Top people, well worth checking out if you want a good deal and great treatment.
