I'm Spanish. We came to this restaurant on holiday and I couldn't be happier. The service was excellent and the food was very good. The steak was cooked just right and the sauces were well prepared. We also had sticky toffee pudding for dessert. It's definitely a place we'll return to.

We had a family birthday meal here on a Thursday night and it was very busy. We had 11 of us at the table and we where served quickly by the pleasent staff. Everyone enjoyed their meals but ihad the Thai chicken curry and this could have had more flavour but all in all nice food. The cheese cake was lovely as to was the esplanade ice cream. We will visit again sometime when it isn't so busy as the noise level can be quite loud at times.

In general
Food is good apart from if you need gluten free . A dish declared gluten free was obviously not as my coeliac parter was very ill after . Also no milk alternatives

Visited here after reading lots of positive reviews, and Cafe Continental caught us by surprise in how nice it was.

Nice modest pub grub that hits the spot. Staff are attentive and professional. Atmosphere goes from laid back to jingly jangly glasses, speech and laughter.

Great food. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. I really enjoy this restaurant. A great bar and bistro with elevated views over the River Clyde.
