Every week we order carry out meals from this establishment but tonight we decided to book a table for 5 family members to celebrate Fathers Day. The exterior of the restaurant is in need of repair and much paintwork, but the food is normally pretty good. We arrived and were shown to a table but within the space of 30 seconds a fly made an appearance. Thinking this was just a rogue insect, we ordered food and drinks and settled down for an enjoyable meal. Unfortunately, the rogue fly had decided to invite numerous family members to our table and before long we (and a waiter) were swotting them with menus and napkins, and unsuccessfully wafting them away from our food. Before long, we conceded defeat and decided to leave our half eaten main meals to get out of a very uncomfortable environment. My daughter went to the desk to pay for our meal (c£147) and expressed her disappointment and disgust regarding the fly infestation when she was asked if everything had been okay. No offer of a discounted bill or any other offer of compensation, but just a business more than happy to take all the money for a sub-standard experience. As a result of this, we won?t be back and we certainly won?t be coughing up the £50+ we spend on a weekly basis for the carry out food. Disgusting.

We used to have such lovely experience having food from this restaurant. However, our last visit has completely disappointed us. It seemed that the restaurant has changed hands. We ordered a takeaway and was surprised to find a piece of burnt plastic in one of the curries. Once we found that, we could not finish our meal and was worried about the health and safety standards by these new owners. We rang to feedback on this, only to be told that there is no guarantee that we can get any refund back on a completely unsatisfactory (or even dangerous!) meal and they didnt seem sincere or concerned that something like that has happened. It was patronising that they just gave a verbal guarantee that this would not happen again. It is a true pity as the food under the previous owner was topnotch and held so many fond memories. We did have a pleasant experience ordering the food as the person across the line was polite. But this was all marred by the lack in caution for health and safety in food - people shouldnt have to worry about ordering food that would be detrimental to their health.

This is the first time I've ordered from here even though they are local to me and I wasn't disappointed. The mixed starter with the tandoor meat and pakora was just delicious, flavourful succulent pieces of meat with a tasty sauce went down well with everyone in the family. The main dishes were generous portions and the chicken bhuna was the best I've ever tasted. Lovely light naan breads and a good menu to choose from. Will definitely be returning for a meal.

I didn't expect much due to having bad experience with other Indian restaurants in the area and I always used to order from different establishment, however this was so good.Vegetarian options are amazing and so tasty, not too dry, very creamy and it was very very fresh.Also meat options according to " fussy" family very nice and tender lamb. Deffinetly will be back again ?

Clearly states £6.95 for a korma but on the phone they are trying to charge me £8.95 stating that is the wrong and it was changed a month ago when its on there right now!! At £6.95, then when i rang back to question thd price of my order the man was extremely rude & hung up on me without giving me the price!! Will never order from there again!! Customer service deserves a 0/10 absolutely shocking!! The anount of mondy we have soent at that place!!

The waiter probably owner was very chatty. Food good the place needs a refurb with somebody that knows how to make it more of a atmosphere and calming decoration

Went here a couple of weeks ago. I don't know the area around all, and a lady at Costco recommended it. It doesn't look much from the outside, but it's lovely inside and very friendly. I tried a Bangladeshi meal I'd never had before, which was delicious. I was a lone, older woman, but felt very comfortable and cared for, but at the same time I was allowed to relax and read in peace. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely go!
