Such a lovely place was only there for 5 ish minutes to grab a couple of coffees which were so yummy. The atmosphere and happiness within poppy?s was lovely to feel apart off. The ladies were so welcoming , kind and friendly. Can?t wait for my next visit.

Absolutely loved this café! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing meal or casual catch-up. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented, clearly made with care. The menu had a great variety, from hearty breakfasts to delicious lunches and sweet treats. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Easily one of the best spots in town, can?t wait to come back!

I was very disappointed with my visit to Poppy?s Cafe in Golspie. The rolls served had mould on them, and the soup was thin, watery, and lacking flavour. There was no food safety certificate visible, which raised serious concerns about hygiene standards. Even more worrying, the waitress kept touching her hair while serving food, which is extremely unhygienic. These issues made the whole experience uncomfortable and unappetizing. With so many better options available in Golspie, I can?t recommend this place. Until basic food safety and cleanliness are addressed, it?s best to avoid Poppy?s Cafe altogether.

Great place, yummy food, and great atmosphere

So good we went back! We stopped off for lunch and had a meal deal, soup, sandwich and a drink for £9.95. OH had tuna and apple, unusual but tasty. I had bacon, brie and cranberry. Also very tasty. The soup was a delicious bacon and lentil.
We went back today and I had a baked potato with prawn Marie rose with accompanying side salad and coleslaw. I couldn't fault it. When we are back in the area we will definitely be back

One of the best places Ive popped in for food which was very good. Love the bread. So soft and so tasty. Lovely friendly staff. A must visit if in the area.

We went for the Christmas evening 3 course dinner. It was excellent, plenty of lovely food, great service and value for money.
We have also been in the day for toasties and tea.
I can highly recommend Poppy's.

Banging soup, toasties, and coffee - you can get all 3 as a meal deal. Awesome service and kind and cheerful staff. (Also, very well priced, by southern standards anyway.) Give this place a chance if you're looking for food up in the northern wastelands :D
Parking: £1 for 2hrs very close with toilets
