Happy with the service and product from Scotplants Direct. It?s great to get the advice that they provide before and during the sales process. In my case it meant that I bought the appropriate number of plants suited to the desired application. Otherwise I might not have bought enough. Better for them and better for me. The hedge plants supplied by Scotplants Direct are thus far looking good. Wouldn?t hesitate to buy again from them ?

We bought replacement Taxus baccata in February. We spoke to Saffron from the Sales Team, who then very kindly and promptly emailed us photos and further information. All the plants we bought were delivered to London, and all are thriving now fantastically. We are inexperienced gardeners, so can only credit the plants and the quality of the service for this success.

Excellent service with very friendly staff. We bought 10 very healthy beech hedging. Initially paid for delivery, but then decided to pick them up. Scotplants refunded the delivery cost straight away. Very satisfied. We will certainly use them again.

Ordered 400 pyracantha firethorn plants. From the initial enquiry to the final delivery, everything was great. Communication from Saffron was excellent throughout, kept me informed throughout the approx 14 day lead in time, and the final delivery was within 8 minutes of the ETA. Quality of plants look great, healthy and should do the job of lining a border fine. Many thanks for all your help throughout!

Ordered 10 x Green Leylandii, outstanding service. Very helpful staff, especially when your partner sends you to a garden centre to buy a hedge. The partner seen a hedge she liked, she cant remember where she seen it, she never taken a picture of it. The only thing she remembered is, its green and it smells like a christmas tree.The staff was very helpful in trying to to identify the hedge, which was the Green Leylandii.The hedge has been up for about a year now and its looking, and growing very good.5 Star service

Please, do not give these people your money, go elsewhere. There are so many places to choose from. I have never experienced such bad customer service from an online retailer or shop in my entire life. These people have strung me along for three weeks, demanding more pictures and have now just asked for more. Although, they have now told me if I want a refund for any of it, I have to send my whole order back of 25 bare - 'rooted' plants of which 20 a gardener spent a day planting as they had roots and need to planted asap, (these are basic box plants and are showing signs of dying) 50 x 8FT bamboo poles and a potted wisteria.. All of the elderberry had practically no root at all and the wisteria had snapped and hasn't shown any growth since delivery. I just have a five inch stick. SEE PICTURES All I have received is a rude, bad attitude and not one apology and now I'm also being accused of lying.I work hard for my money and chose to order from them instead of all the other places and this is how they treat you. I had to email twice to get an initial response, then again twice to get another reply and it took them 10 days to respond.I WILL UPDATE SITUATION.UPDATE ~ RESPONSE TO REPLYThis is a business that is opens 7 days a week and they took 10 days to respond to my email, there's no excuse for this.As you can see from their response to my review and all other reviews where there has been a problem, they do not care. They are more worried about defending theirselves. Saying 'damaged' is obviously alluring to me being a liar. Telling a customer that has bought 25 plants off you + 50 x bamboo canes, that if I want to receive a refund for the faulty items, I will have to post the whole order back at my own cost isn't adhering to statutory laws.

CANNOT FAULT THIS BUSINESS AT ALL.I purchased 12 5ft bare root Laurel last year. Delivery was on time and the trees were lovely and healthy. However, after a while several of the trees began to lose their leaves, leaving some of them appearing dead. I contacted Scotplants for advice and I have to say their response was timely and comprehensive, which was very helpful. Some of my trees suffered transplant shock. I sent photos, carried out scratch tests etc as advised. Anyway, to cut a long story short the process has taken several months, most of my trees recovered leaving 2 dead. Scotplants have maintained contact with me throughout, and have advised and offered advice as required. I have just received 2 replacement trees which I am delighted with.Plants are living things and need the right nurturing, many people are already aware of this but some, like me are not so experienced. I have valued the support and advice, I appreciate that often the plants need time to settle. I have to credit this company for maintaining their contact with me, and for being positive and reaching a suitable resolution. Customer care in my opinion is without doubt second to none, most companies are happy to wash their hands as soon as they can, but I have had continuous care for almost a year after purchase.Highly recommending this company.

I ordered 100 box hedge plants. They arrived this morning in wonderful condition each plant in its own pot healthy and well watered. This is the first time I have used this company it certainly will not be the last. We live in Ireland and the plants arrived three days from ordering. Thomas mccreery

Ordered a few times over the last couple of years. Every order kept up-to-date with dispatch and delivery information and when received has arrived well packaged in boxes or sturdy pallets for trees everything very healthy on arrival and thriving after planting. Easy to use website, great prices and great products.
