Bought a calor gas canister at Morrisons petrol on 10th July at 11 am and paid £84.48. Due to a queue and despite me asking my more card wasn?t stamped. The receipt clearly states ?0 points earned? I went back to the petrol station at 1230 on 13th July and the assistant stated that he had scanned my more card. I showed him the receipt which stated that he hadn?t. He then refused to scan my card and referred me to a telephone number on the receipt for Customer Care to give feedback. In the main store a man took my complaint and details and stated that he would send it electronically to get me my points. Apparently the petrol station is a franchise but the feeling of being ? ripped off? is overwhelming. The petrol station assistant lied to me telling me that he had scanned my more card despite evidence to the contrary. In any case he must have served dozens of other people since then and it lacks credibility that he could remember me, let alone scanned my card.I?ll still get my shopping at Morrisons but from now on shall use other petrol stations.

Morrisons is quick enough to open a load of self checkouts because it saves them money on having staff man the tills however after getting us to do their job for them they want you to scan your receipt and actually get on your hands and knees to beg and plead for a carrier bag. Trust us or don?t but if you don?t trust us get rid of the self checkout all together! Pitiful affair tbh. ?
