I cycle here quite regularly. I especially like that you can order drinks and food from the Wetherspoon's app.
Food is always decent and service is curtious and friendly.
Busy pub, full of characters.
Worth a visit if you are in Glenrothes town centre.

Hotel room was great. Pub was great with really friendly staff. Mystified by table 155 - all alone im the hotel reception area - the quietest and cleanest table in the house! Ripe for a Dom Jolly style sketch. Anybody used the Wetherspoons app to order to there?!?!

Value for money is great. It was really charming to pass through a local pub/ bar/ restaurant to go to the room. It felt a little out of an old movie. Service was kind. Breakfast was nice and cheap. Would recommend and go again

Located next to Glenrothes bus station and kingdom shopping centre. Arrived at 8:30pm after a 5 hour bus trip Decided to have dinner at the Acorn It was my first visit
I had chicken tikka and rice and naan bread and then ice cream and chocolate sauce
A pint and a half of tennants went down very well. Very quiet vibe very chilled out.
I really enjoyed it. Fast friendly service

First time in a weatherspoon room. Was very surprised how nice it actually was.
The only advice I would give is smaller lamps on bedside tables and a extra hand rail to help get into bath.
Bath and shower in bathroom.
Food was nice.
Staff nice.
Pub and public nice quiet friendly pub.

Bouncer harassed a member of our table for showing someone a video on his phone. Then proceeded to challenge him again while texting??? never seen anything so ridiculous. Approached us rather aggressively 2nd time with no reason to do so. Also no draught lager, on a Saturday.

No signage or communication from the staff that you need to register your car if you're eating there. Euro Car Park Charge a couple of weeks later in the mail.

Good friendly staff food was good, bedrooms were ok bit dated need some work done but was poor not getting lift fixed and had to carry luggage to top floor

We stopped for lunch. What a lovely outdoor area. Ordered via app. Out came this lovely cheery young Lad with our food. And another with our drinks. We have frequented a lot of wetherspoons all over the country and always order same thing. This is the best ever. Chicken in a basket. Dip and spicy rice. Honestly. The chef should be crowned. Best ever fluffiest rice. Chicken light and crisp. I have never experienced this dish so eloquently put together. Glasgow. Durham. St albans
Massive failure compared to this place. Loved it. 10/10
