Was there July 7th and food excellent.surprised how good and great price. Returned Aug 7th and ordered same meals. Very disappointed,no comparison. One was burnt,one meal had odd taste and one was fine. Had cider with meals,warm and flat. Other customers also complained about meals. Perhaps different cook etc. Certainly different staff. Was disappointed as had recommended to friends.

Absolutely horrendous the staff are plane rude and didnt let us order anything from the bar after 10 o clock. Absolutely disgusting establishment DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE ANY RESPECT FOR YOUR SELF.

Busy on a Friday Evening at about 6Pm but not unexpected Food was lukewarm no excuse really for that A lot ordering with App but why don't they clear clutter of other tables on way back .At least Festival Beers.were good Hope Breakfast tomorrow is correct Temperature!

Epic, you can stay in a pub, drink all you want, then stagger back to your room to sleep it off, wake up in the morning, have a full Scottish breakfast with a couple of pints of Bud Lite, sit and watch telly with a few more pints, then have dinner, and finish off the night with a couple of double whiskey and lemonade!
That's what I call living the life!

I regularly visit the Golden Acorn as it offers a great service with very friendly staff. Everybody who works here seems to be happy and enjoying themselves. The food is always fast and delicious. The Hotel rooms are immaculately clean. Sometimes I go for the breakfast, and sometimes I go for the burger, but every time I do the food is perfect. Sometimes I?d go with a larger group and take my whole family and when I do, it is always easy to find a large table where we can also sit together. This is something that I really appreciate. The car park is annoying as it can be easy to forget to enter your registration plate.

Went to wotherspoons in glenrothes. I always go there all the time. The food is going down hill a bit. They must have changed the chef got a large fish and chips. It looked like a small fish and chips. The batter wasn't that good the peas were terrible. Looked as if they had been boiled about ten times. Really disappointed. Don't think I will be going back.food seems to be going down hill.

Staff are very good and the breakfasts are awesome, it's a shame they stopped doing steak though but never the less we still go for meals and drinks
