Another great night at Bankhead Brewers Fayre. Meeting friends and having a lovely meal. All the staff and managers go out of their way to make sure you have a lovely meal and are having a great time in a friendly atmosphere. They are such a great hardworking team. I would totally recommend it .

Just had my mother in laws birthday meal here this evening. Absolutely no issues apart from one steak that was very much underdone, after raising the issue with the manager we were fully compensated and no one went hungry. Staff were also extremely apologetic. The manager on shift and our server which I unfortunately have forgotten the names of were friendly and very attentive and I couldn?t fault the service. Just goes to show when you deal with things in a polite manner things can be dealt with quickly and efficiently. My mother in law was also gifted a bottle of sparkling wine and a birthday card which was a lovely surprise for her. We can?t wait to come back and try your carvery at some point.

I ordered the fish, I've never had fried fish with skin still on, got told this was very 'controversial', more like the boke ?. Absolutely disgusting and will not be back. When we brought this to the waitress' attention, she said that even she wouldn't touch it ?. There was also no one around to even mention this to at the time.

9 days here and we are sick as dogs with the food, everything is fried and reused for the next day. The bacon has been the same for 3 days, the fruit salad (the fruits are brown and tangy from soaking in the juice for 3 days) also all the leftovers from the day are reused for the next day. The smell of bacon that has gone bad is infamous. Nothing is fresh. Only frozen, reheated, the cold chain is broken...
The place is magnificent. Change your cooking and stop serving spoiled dishes, especially given the price.

So booked Christmas dinner for 12 and 2 high chairs and when we got there the floor manager took chairs, away as she made a, mistake with numbers although I paid for 9 adults and 3 kids as baby's don't eat yet. When I confronted her about the 2 chairs short her attitude became very aggressive infront of everyone. She shouted across the floor if your not happy then leave. She was vile and we will never return to this horrible place again. Bearing in mind 3 people were disabled. She then went on to become aggressive with another party. Terrible place and I strongly would not recommend this place

A big thanks to the Hotel Manager for their incredibly professional and compassionate approach in fully resolving the issue I experienced.
I?ve left my original review below in case anyone else faces a similar situation, but credit where credit is due ? the management team here is excellent. It was a remarkable turnaround from the night before!

Hands down, the worst service I've ever had in a restaurant. I was staying at the connected Premier Inn and entered at 20:45.
Given her reaction, you'd be forgiven for thinking the welcoming lady was attempting to move Mount Everest into space just to assist me. Following that charming introduction, she then tried to conjure a food order from me without providing a menu, all while asking me for a table number ? despite me having no clue where I was even meant to sit.
Simply awful. Staff like this drag down those around them (I was eventually served by someone who was genuinely friendly) and have no place in hospitality.
If you?re served by the same person I was, do yourself a favor and ask for the manager or request someone else.
Food in the end was absolutely fine, but given such service it's difficult to see beyond such negative welcoming.

Went to glenrothes on Sunday the 17 of November for meal with my partner. Meal wasn't very hot. Had to leave most of it as it was absolutely disgusting. Will be telling alot of my own customers about that place to avoid going there. The bacon smelt off and the chips were cold. Not worth the money. Absolutely disgusting for the price. Don't mind paying dear if the food is good. Definitely won't be going back.your better off going to wotherspoons. Better value for your money and you get a free drink. Horrible place. Makes me feel sick every time I pass it everyday.

Two cheeseburgers from the value range seemed only to be warm when delivered to the table definitely could have been hotter. Kerri very pleasant and engaging
