Stuart is an amazing manager! Friendly and helpful throughout the whole lunch. Definitely will be coming back ! Garlic bread was surprisingly full of garlic flavor and the portion sizes were very good. Not too much or too little!
Dietary restrictions: I have lactose intolerance and and gluten sensitive the choices were great and the staff were very careful

I got a delivery at lunchtime yesterday from here. Food was delivered hot and was delicious. Would absolutely recommend here and will definitely be back very soon.

This is a lovely restaurant. Just off of Byers road. They do a nice lunch time menu if you're not wanting to spend too much. The carbonara is delicious.

Got a delivery from the restaurant at lunch time. Food was delivered on time, was hot and very delicious. Especially the chorizo and mozzarella bombe! Will definitely order again.

I like Zizzi. The food is always interesting and I love the desserts so it a shame that this restaurant is very poorly staffed. We waited 25 minutes and had to ask if someone would take our order . No apology, no recognition we had been ignored. This happens every time we go. I always hope it will be better. The restaurant itself is also very cold, even in summer. Food is often not freshly made and the prices are crazy so I only ever go if I have some sort of discount.

AVOID if you have a food allergy or dietary restrictions.
My friend and I visited Zizzi in Glasgow West End for lunch, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. My friend, who is vegan, informed the staff of her dietary preferences and was given the vegan menu. She ordered the vegan margherita pizza, but when it arrived, the cheese looked like dairy. We flagged this with the waitress, who assured us it was vegan. My friend, who hasn?t consumed dairy in years, could immediately tell it wasn?t, and even I, as a non-vegan, recognised the taste of dairy cheese. We alerted the waitress again, and after checking with the kitchen, she confirmed that the pizza had been mistakenly made with dairy cheese, not vegan.
While we appreciated the offer of a free replacement, it?s crucial to acknowledge that this mistake could have had far more serious consequences if my friend had a severe dairy allergy. When the waitress came to collect the incorrect pizza, I asked if it was going to be thrown away. She confirmed it would be, and I suggested she leave it on the table, as I could have some slices with my pasta to prevent it from going to waste. She agreed, stating it would otherwise be discarded.
When the new vegan pizza arrived, the manager simply dropped it on the table without an apology or any explanation.
At the end of the meal, we were shocked to see we were charged for the vegan pizza, despite being told it would be provided free of charge due to the mix-up. When we raised this with the waitress, she casually responded, ?Well, you had two pizzas.? But we only had two pizzas because of their mistake! After some back-and-forth, they did remove it from the bill, but there was no acknowledgment of the seriousness of the error or any genuine apology from the staff.
Given the tragic story of Natasha Ednan-Laperouse, who died after an allergic reaction to peanuts from a Pret A Manger baguette, I expected much better awareness and care regarding food allergies and dietary restrictions. Thankfully, my friend wasn?t harmed, but this could have been life-threatening, and the restaurant?s response was deeply concerning.
I will not be returning and strongly advise anyone with food allergies or dietary restrictions to proceed with caution here.
