And what better way to celebrate my return than with a mouthwatering full Scottish breakfast? ??I must admit, I was a bit lost when it came to finding a good spot for this iconic meal. But guess what? Luck was on my side! The accommodation I'm staying at includes breakfast, and boy, did they deliver!I can confidently say that I just had the BEST full Scottish breakfast of my life! ? The service at William Cfe was beyond amazing - the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They truly made my morning extra special. Now, here's the exciting part - I highly recommend this place to all my fellow foodies out there! If you're craving a hearty and delicious breakfast, look no further. Not only do they serve the traditional Scottish breakfast, but they also have options for our vegetarian friends. ? And let's not forget about their homemade bread, which is an absolute delight!A big shoutout and heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at William Cfe for making my breakfast experience unforgettable. If you're in Glasgow and want to treat yourself to a fantastic meal, this is the place to be!So, who's up for joining me on my next breakfast adventure? Lovely cosy little cafe with perfect food (and coffee!). I had scrambled eggs on toast and porridge and both were dreamy!

Nipped in with my Mrs for a quick coffee after a long trip. Was surprised to see such an incredible selection of cakes and other food on offer. Can safely say we'd hurry back in an instant!!! Service was top notch, lovely customer service with a smile. Cakes were tremendous! (Recommend the Malteser cheesecake and the carrot cake..!!! ?) Cappuccinos were superb and even went for a smoothie each which were both very refreshing and delicious! Couldn't recommend more!

Very good little cafe in the Westend. Food was of a good quality and came quickly. There weren't a lot of tables but turn around was quick enough and they did takeaway for those not wanting to wait. Good selection of homemade cakes and pastries.

Normally love this place and the food is delicious. But the service is terrible after sitting in. 3 staff sitting in the kitchen and the noise coming out was loud enough to drown table conversation. only really came out to chat to their friends when they come in to chat. Good luck trying to get their attention to pay. I?d go to North Star I?m future, better people to deal with.

Some years ago - maybe two - I first had William's super-salad and was excited by its mix of fresh salad leaves, chopped fresh veg, seeds and nuts and small pieces of roasted root veg. So much so that I emulated it at home. But now the other day I returned to have it in the caff and I am sorry to say it was a not-so-super salad. It consisted only of chewy chunks of poorly roasted butternut squash, some lamb's lettuce and approximately four seeds. The poached egg was a good poached egg. Can I suggest you go back to the original recipe?

I have waxed lyrical about this café before but it?s worth another ?call-back?A colleague and I had a lovely breakfast. He had croque monsieur, and I had eggs hollandaise (Sherlock style). I had a perfectly made Americano courtesy of Dear Green coffee, another of Glasgow?s treasures.. An excellent artisan coffee roasted in the second city of the empire.I?m not convinced it?s particularly suitable for cappuccino or Espresso, but it makes the finest Americano with none of this foo foo stuff with milk on the side. Having said that my colleague said the cappuccino was delicious with the compulsory chocolate (I believe), on top (apparently, that?s optional in some American coffee shops).Ah those capuchin monks would be proud!Well we?ve reached the denouement and the conclusion and my only complaint: The parking is dreadful and costly. Having said that, since I live locally- Solvitur Ambulando

Called in here today for lunch . Waited 45 minutes. Tea and coffee served fairly quickly but were cold before any sign of food. We asked the waitress and she said they had a busy spell with carry outs . We explained we had a train to catch and could wait no longer. We paid for our drinks with no apology. My son lives local to the cafe and felt bad for us , our first time there . He wonbe back

Had been working one Monday morning in the west end of Glasgow, and was in need of something to eat and a coffee. Was close to Queen Margaret Drive, and know there is plenty of good breakfast spots there, and one I did plan to visit was closed for a refurb, so settled on William Cafe next door. For a bank holiday Monday, it was packed, so ordered a morning roll and a coffee to go. Staff are very friendly, and my roll was freshly prepared in no time, and was VERY tasty. Little bit on the pricey side, but can not fault the staff or my meal, and would consider coming here again if in the area.

I had lunch here with my wife and niece today and as unassuming it looks outside, this wee cafe had a great atmosphere. The food selection was not too extensive that quality gets diluted. My niece had a babychino which she loved and the 3 of us had pancakes. They were amazing and very fluffy and I would recommend them with maple syrup and bacon. PS the cakes in the window are incredible!

Stumbled upon this quaint and ecletic coffee shop near the Botanic Gardens, and we were very pleasantly surprised. We ordered a flat white, hot chocolate, carrot cake, and billionaire's shortbread, all of which were delicious. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and there was a really welcoming atmosphere in the cafe. I will definitely be making a return visit.
