Best Waterstones I was ever in. Great selection. Very well laid out, especially the cafe. Great staff too

Definitely one of my favorite Waterstones. Love the display, recommendations and theme tables that make sense, the big staircase and how well organised the store is! The café is also lovely with plenty of seating options. Absolutely love coming here!

It's a cozy atmosphere, have been up to the cafe once or twice and it's been okay. However downstairs at the entrance I've had no problem until recent months. I asked if they had books from an author in stock. They looked it up before passing judgement rudely on why I wanted to read books from 2016/17 ?. None of their business but I wanted to read an authors previous books before their new release. Barely replied but on the train home I wished I said something about it. Tried once or twice more and the same guy just looks as though you're an inconvenience to them. Been finding myself gravitating towards sauchiehall street since. 2 stars tbh is being quite generous.

Nice airy bookshop.all departments well signposted. Friendly staff. Lovely cafe on the 1st floor overlooking Argyle Street. Great shopping experience.??
