“All manner of books (new and old) covering a wide range of subjects; from local ie Scottish to America and beyond.Subjects include history, politics, religion as well as works of fiction. All at reasonable condition ( it is a charity book shop) and good prices. My biggest gripe is there are so many books you can lose track of time :)All in all a definite place to pass the time in and who knows, find a treasure...”

“Loss of 1 star because it is a bit cramped an not very good if you suffer a bit of claustrophobia, although on the flipside of this it's good if you want to browse as there's loads and I'm sure if you spent a good 15/20 mind of ur time you would come across 2 or 3 great buys! Found a few bargains in here! Defo will be back, also Vicki your mum was lovely to me and very pleasant!”

“Café was recommended by a friend so we went along to check it out. The cafe area is fresh and welcoming. Our lunch consisted of soup and panini plus tea and coffee. Everything was lovely, reasonably priced and we will definitely be back soon.”

“What is it like working for Barnardos? I enjoyed my time Volunteering there, and worked with a nice group of people, including the shop manager named Catherine Whitelaw who reminded me of Doris Day, she was a beautiful blonde and liked to sing too! ”

“Good selection, but as mentioned before, the staff is nicking nicer things for themselves. Not extremely cheap but it’s the same for all the charity shops under this name”

“Been stopping in to furnish my flat. Great cheap furniture and hidden gems along the wall with pictures, bric a brac etc. Mick at the counter was a pleasure to deal with and the guys who did the delivery were absolute gents. Wonderful place, very happy to have discovered it”

“I am a regular visitor in this Charity shop and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. Today l visited the shop and on leaving l cut my leg on some broken glass. Mharie the depute manager immediately dealt with the situation. Used First Aid. It was very reassuring and helped me feel calmer about the situation.”

“What a difference in this shop seems more organised and the lovely new staff are so polite and helpful ,great service and lots of bargains to be found, keep up the good work. Just need to get the manager to treat the volunteers better as shouting at them in front of customers is a bad idea, volunteers are lovely the older guy who was shouting about being the manager really needs to be trained better.”

“This is a wee gem, just outside the main drag of shops but well worth a visit. Really full selection across all the ranges and great prices. Very friendly, helpful in-store team. Give it a visit, I don't think you'll be disappointed.”

“A lovely little thrift store that was logically laid out with helpful staff. Clothing is clearly labelled and organised by type and size. The sizes are also accurately displayed on the hangers which is a nice touch. A special thank you to Tony who took the time to chat and give my advice on what to see and do in Glasgow. You're a star!”

“This is such a lovely charity shop - probably one of the nicest I've ever been too! I've been in a couple of times for a look and I absolutely love how it's laid out - essentially, it's split into four areas and laid out like a house. There's a bed, bathroom, living and men's/women's clothing areas. It's very cleverly done and is really appealing, especially compared to your standard charity shop. Prices are reasonable, there's a huge range of women's & men clothes and accessories (a whole drawer of ties!) as well as crockery/glassware, cards for Christmas (if you want to get in really early) and the usual bits you'd expect in a charity shop. It's worth paying this shop a visit just to see how nicely it's laid out, even if you're not planning on buying anything!”

“What a truly incredible place this is! The facilities are amazing and the staff couldn’t be better! We have experienced an amazing warm reception, great food and friendly faces every time we’ve been in the hall over the past few weeks. We can’t thank Kate and the team enough for their support during our project. We definitely hope to be back and would highly recommend the venue/hall/cafe to anybody!”

“Quality shop! As with most West End charity shops the prices are a bit higher but the selection is excellent. Got a gorgeous Hobbs dress last week for a tenner and have purchased some other high quality items for a fraction of the original price so not complaining!”

“This is a very nicely arranged charity store with a good selection of clothes and books. A bit of a slight mess, but it just goes to show you the amount of donations. This preloved store is definitely worth the visit!”

“The shop is always clean fresh and well stocked - we like their price point of £2.50 for clothes, the 5 for a £1 CD/DVD deal and the cool, helpful and informative staff - you can get your best bargains here”

“Good prices and found some beautiful vintage pieces here but I’d rather shop in silence. That Bernardo’s radio station has made me leave the shop a few times with the royalty garbage playing I don’t know how the employees don’t go insane working there ?”
