Used this store a couple of times. Never again! I had been a SpecSavers contact lense and hearing aid customer for over 20 years with the Glasgow Trongate store. When I moved house I thought I'd try Glasgow Fort store as it was nearer. I did and have moved back to Trongate!! I don't know what is going on at The Fort store but in the small amount of time I was using them they cancelled my lense delivery without telling me, the glasses I got from them I can't see out of properly and they didn't know what plugs my Specsavers hearing aids used even though I handed them to the girl, who asked where I got them from..."Specsavers as it says on the side" I replied!!!! I eventually had to get the plugs online from Amazon!!

Excellent service after phoning for an appointment asap due to concerns from my GP. Had a thorough test performed by Kieran who reassured me and gave me every test to eliminate any problems . He then gave me a request for a repeat prescription for dry eyes. He could not have been more helpful or professional, can?t thank him enough. Well done Kieran much appreciated.

Was ignored for a good 5 minutes after I entered the store, despite having an appointment and there being 3 members of staff.Good eye test.Utterly horrendous customer service. Wasn't contacted to advise that my second pair of glasses weren't available for collection. Also, I wasn't told there was a delay in sending my 2nd pair to me.I waited almost 2 weeks for them to post them out to me, and I had to phone to complain.Despite my wishes being made very clear to the store manager, he contacted me asking if I'd like to collect my glasses!I won't be back, and I highly recommend you go elsewhere. Staff simply don't care once you've paid.Trongate branch staff are way more professional.

Once they've served you and got the money. It takes quite a while when your going to get your glasses to get served.

A special mention to Helen Quinn who did my eye test today. I'm recently diagnosed with epilepsy and on heavy medication and her concern, patience and attentiveness throughout the whole process was remarkable. Believe it or not, not many have such understanding so a big big thank you.

Waited 30 minutes after my appointment, heard someone say they've been waiting 1 hour and still hadn't been seen. They overbooked and I didn't have time to wait around for my appointment as my dog was home alone. I cancelled my appointment and left.

Had an appointment booked, yet still had to wait 50 minutes beyond given time. Once test was complete no staff to assit in choosing glasses, so went back a few days later. Then when I went to collect glasses today the girl who ordered them had put in the wrong prescription.I suspect this also happened the last time I got glasses from here, as i couldnt use them as they were too strong. There is a vision express around the corner which might be better.
