Had an appointment today at 9.50am arrived at 9.35am and was taken straight away, with the practitioner Stephanie Roberts who done my eye examination.she was very clear and understanding,a credit to specsavers.5 star treatment.thank you Stephanie from Specsavers.

This is about Specsavers in Rutherglen. The staff appear to have changed since my last visit and definitely for the better. I felt much more comfortable and looked after this time around. The assistant that did the pre checks was super helpful and friendly. The optician was chatty and explained everything and took time to answer my questions without making me feel I was wasting her time.

Total disgusting and more than unhelpful optician was totally unhelpful useless under not interested in helping actually going out of way to find a way to charge for eye test even though I am 70 years old and diabetics and due an eye test every year

From entering the shop til i left the staff were welcoming and made the visit really stress free and couldn?t fault them.

My wife picked frames for her varifocals and glasses were made up costing £250,when ready they did not suit as optician said frames not big enough so had to pick another pair at another £20 sorry but your fault for not advising about frame size in the first place, so you have lost me as a customer as not happy with service.

Once again, let down by this stores staff, no one seems to know what they are doing, I doubt any of them are trained! Was quoted a price for 2 frames INCLUDING an anti glare coating. When I called up to make a payment the price had almost doubled!
When I asked why the price had increased they said they ?didn?t know, and I was to pay £175 if I wanted them or they will remove the anti glare?
The price I was given included this already yet now, I?ve to pay double or do without???
Either I was quoted the wrong price to start with or now,staff are not professional nor trained in customer service as their attitude was deplorable!
They also ?offer? a more detailed eye exam when booking online, yet they don?t mention there will be a charge for this service until you are in the room having the consultation.
This is the second time this store has done this, I think they make the prices up as they go along!!

Really amazing experience, was greeted the moment I walked through the door, was in my appointment within 3 minutes of waiting and was out the door again in under half an hour. The optician was so lovely and kind, she was absolutely fantastic at explaining everything and really helped as my vision had got a bit worse. 10/10 will visit again!
