In dire need of a revamp, roof in the forecourt is like a Sieve - would be better standing out in the rain!
Never any disposable gloves either, which is fine if the pump nozzles were kept clean..
Definitely won?t be returning! It?s a real shame, as Shell is normally kept to a much better standard.

A little more expensive, you only get what you pay for, super unleaded is 99 Octane not the usual 97 Octane.

You could be surprised how low it could go with the customer service!!And given the extortionate prices it could afford for some customer service training for the front staff.In my experience the staff did not accept 100 pound banknote with cheeky and arrogant attitude. No offering any options/solutions other than some remarks.

Awful customer care and questionable safety standards !
1. An accident happened : Whilst filling up, the nozzle?s auto shut appeared to fail , sending fuel gushing out of my tank and all over the ground . Startled by this I made the staff aware .
2 . I feel that even if the Staff had pretended to share my concern , reassure me, say they?d check it out and so sorry for the inconvenience it would have been the end of the story.
-They did say they?d clean it up and she did came out whilst we were still there but never came over to us to see if we were ok , nor to clean up the fuel. My friend scattered sawdust on the spill and we left.
I phoned today as I felt the info Leanne gave me at the time was deliberately misleading :
Basically saying that it depends on the car?s auto shut mechanism and nothing to do with their nozzle. This proved untrue ( this was a new car so I had to see if there was a problem with the car!) hence the reason for the call back .
3. When they later called me back I willingly gave them all the info they needed to investigate .
Why she couldn?t leave it at that , say ?sorry? once again and let it be the end of the matter I don?t know .
Instead I?m even angrier than before at the belligerent and accusatory attitude I was subjected to .
I thought she was genuinely interested in investigating this matter but all she wanted to do was to try to shift the blame to my friend and I , accusing us of chatting whilst filling up the tank and not paying attention ( huh?!) , of ignoring and cancelling the autostop ( it kicked in when tank was 1/4 full) so her assertion is that when we pressed the nozzle after that we effectively switched off that safety function which sent fuel gushing out !
We were actually glancing at the pump tally and the tank the whole time as we were guessing how much a full tank would cost as this was a new car.
She also accused me of backtracking on my account and was generally trying to wear me down with her arguments and counter arguments- it was exhausting and very frustrating !
She even questioned my assertion that the fuel incident scared me as I didn?t actually say ? I?m scared !? at any point and besides this kind of incident happens every day as if it?s not a big deal . ( who am I to know that ? I don?t work in a petrol station and was this supposed to reassure me ??)
In the end I had to put the phone down on her after stating twice that I had to go in to a meeting and that we were done here , which she ignored and kept badgering me .
Shocking attitude from her and the other manager ( Margaret I think ) . I won?t be back that?s for sure and it they call me again I will report them for harassment .
