Young manager was an absolute waster, sat in the back while I was trying to contact the shop about a snappy shopper issue, answered after the 4th call to then tell me the computer was down so he wasn?t aware. Then proceeded to tell me someone would deliver it within 20 mins with no apology. AN HOUR LATER I had to walk 35 mins to the shop after the rodent AGAIN did not answer the shop phone to find him sitting in the back (which was confirmed by a female employee and how he spends half his time). Order was not even prepared and got nothing but attitude. Not one apology. And not any consideration to the point he was laughing in my face. He?s as good as a pair of chocolate sunglasses.

I have used this store for years and have always found it great for someone like me who lives locally without transport. The reviews of staff on this site are a little unfair considering the level of customer abuse I have witnessed over the years.Recently there has been a change of supplier to the Co-op and I can't help feeling this may be a big mistake, particularly relating to fresh produce.I really think those who review the staff so badly should possibly consider how they would respond to the pressure of dealing with some customers. Maybe it would be more appropriate to review some customer attitudes!

I would give a lower score if possible. Dirty habits employed by staff handling food. Smoking, no hand washing, hair not tied back and polished long fingernails. Also rude staff. Always chatting with each other whilst customers wait. Dont use unless you are desperate.

If I could give a minus score I would.Awful customer service,untidy shop,grumpy staff.They talk to you like dirt most of the time,that's when they're not ignoring you or giving you dirty looks,or talking to people 3 behind you in the queue while serving you.A customer service training course might be on order for everyone in there.And a good hygiene course too,outside smoking one minute,inside serving food the next without washing there hands.Terrible store.
