Went to Schuh at Silverburn Glasgow last night for some new converse trainers for my holiday and had one of the best customer service experiences I?ve had in a while. I believe the girl was called Becca ? she couldn?t have been any friendlier and was just really helpful. I?d been to another couple of shops before, as I?m spending quite a bit on the trainers, and Becca really made me feel good about my purchase. Thanks

Aaron was great and extremely patient and friendly. He had the complex job of sizing up my 5 year old daughters feet and advising on the best shoes for her.

SHOCKING behaviour from staff member who made an accusation of fraud.
I attended Silverburn branch to return shoes purchased within 24hours from The Glasgow Fort branch. The shoes were poor fitting and I chose to return.
On initial contact I advised member of staff of reason and requested a refund. I observed the staff member to inspect the soles of shoes and then leave to compare against an identical pair on the shelf. I was totally confused by these actions then even more so when the member of staff returned to inform me after inspection her assessment concluded the shoes had been worn and as such cannot be returned. My reply that the shoes have been sold as NEW and now discovering these were actually USED and I paid full price was unacceptable. I requested a full refund. I was directed to customer service contact number however I refused and the staff member then advised she would speak with Glasgow Fort branch where the original purchase took place.
To discover that I had been sold shoes by one branch who assessed these as being NEW IN BOX and for another store to assess the same shoes as USED was to say the least confusing. I would have fully expected all stores to have a clear policy of what is new and what is worn. After some time the staff member returned and advised as goodwill gesture I would be refunded however there was nothing GOOD about my experience and as such WILL not be shopping in this store again. I must emphasise the shoes did not appear used otherwise I would not have purchased.
It would be my suggestion that future training for staff include an inspection and assessment module which ensures a consistent approach throughout all branches. If this was in place today this would have prevented any confusion between staff and branches and for me as a customer left feeling persecuted, shocked and distressed.

Staff gave an immediate warm and helpful greeting as I got into the store, and returned my faulty pair of shoes without any problem, I was in the store less than 5 minutes total. It was a very quick, easy and pleasant experience in the store this evening.

Visited Saturday 9th July looking to get school shoes for my son was served by a delightful patient young guy called Andrew we tried 3 different times to get the correct size for son and nothing was too much hassle. So a special shout to Andrew I hope your hard work doesn't go unnoticed.
