I booked for 5.30 when I bought tickets for the theartre in April. Through unseen circumstances I gave my booking and tickets to a friend. When she arrived at the restraunt last night she was told the booking was moved to 4.30 and had missed it!!
I had no warning of this. I am so angry that my freind was treated in this way after me booking the restraunt such a long time in advance. She was offered another table but only given an hour to eat they're meal.
How can you change someone's booking to 45 mins before they would arrive without any notice? How eats dinner at 4.30 when the show starts at 7.30!!
I am very annoyed at the Sanninos for spoiling my freinds evening. I think you should be ashamed treating customers in such a way!!

Stunning place, the interior was spot on and just a great feel place. All the staff was amazing, the cocktails were incredible and so was the food. Me and friend came here before a show at kings theatre and was a great location.
Highly recommend to anyone.

My friends and I were looking for somewhere to eat before going to a show at the King's, and hadn't booked anywhere. We chanced going down into Sannio which was packed. The gentleman who attended to us offered us a table if we could wait 15 mins. Gave us menus so we could order while we were waiting and promised we would get our mains before 7pm, show started at 7.30pm.
Got 2 x 2 seater tables together which was fine, just happy we got in. Food and drinks came quickly and we were very happy with everything. The tagliatelle bolognese was delicious, as was the prawn cocktail and mushroom bruschetta. I can't remember the other meals but everything got eaten.
Loved the busy atmosphere, colourful decor, toilets were spotless, staff were really lovely.
We will definitely return another day when we have more time.

I hosted an event at the restaurant for a group of 18 guests in June. I could not recommend this restaurant enough, the team were incredibly helpful in the planning stages and the food and atmosphere on the night was fantastic. The staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to ensure that all our guests had a good experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sannio for events, or a lovely meal - I will be back.

We visited this Italian restaurant recently and found it pretty average overall?nothing particularly memorable. The venue itself is small and located underground, with more of a cozy bar-like vibe. We shared a few appetizers and three pasta dishes. The chili garlic prawns were overly salty, and the pastas lacked depth of flavor?bland and forgettable. The chicken Milanese was overcooked and slightly burnt, which was a letdown. The only real highlight was the tiramisu, which was rich and satisfying. Unfortunately, beyond that, there wasn?t much that would bring us back.

Really disappointed in this restaurant. First time trying here with friends and the service started off ok but then went down hill. There was no table checks done once we were given our first drink, sar for ages and had to keep trying to grab someone's attention. Food was nice but desserts pricey for what it was. The main reason we won't be back was because we felt the older woman who seemed to be in charge was quite rude to us. She came over and put the cheque on the table and said you will all need to go your tables booked out but slapped a £22 service charge on the bill. There's ways and means of asking for the table back as we understood there were people waiting it would have been no issues. My friends felt slightly Embarrassed by her behaviour so we reluctantly paid the service charge and left. Since going here I found others were in the same position. I have just read your reply which I appreciate you taking the time to do so. I do understand the whole 90mins etc but it's the way it was done. There were 4 of us and all of us felt exactly the same about how rude the female was theres no taking away from that we arent making this up. We won't be back sorry!
