I?m not a usual customer in these types of retail stores. I came in today looking for a suit and one of the workers approached me asking if I needed help. Chris I think his name was, a true gentlemen!
He showed true care in helping me pick out a suit, offering various ways I could style it and related it to the event I?m intending it for. Not only did he offer a lot of help and support, he showed great knowledge of the product, current trends and interest in his customer service.
Throughout my time in the store I could see him approaching everyone asking if they?d needed help, even informing them of the promotions and deals they could get.
Usually I?d find store clerks to be quite invasive or pushy with trying to sell me things but Chris was a gent and clearly very skilled and experienced in his job. Give the man a raise or at least celebrate him for his work, I?d definitely visit the store again.

Big shoutout to Lusi (hope I spelled that right!) at River Island! She was super friendly, fast, and happy to help ? unlike someone else who just told me to go downstairs because this section was for men ?. Lusi made my shopping experience so much better. Amazing customer service ? thank you, Lusi!

Heard employees talking about shoes stinking. I can't belive how bad their service was this is unacceptable do not recommend it at all never going again

Very poor customer service, the bigger build girl behind counter very rude and doesn't seem to want to be there, seems to talk in a an aggressive tone, which impress,s no one , the manageress appears clueless regarding customer services skills and picks up conversations and issues wrongly and deals with them by firing hearsay false accusations back at the customer instead of dealing or handling the issue in which she is paid to do,it appears she glorifys arguing
with the the customer ie me and who knows who else, also seems to have a poor command of the English language, sorry but your job is to serve and please the customer, perhaps a lack of experience or more training would help, they should take a leaf out of the book of the lovely polite staff at the Forge, who are very professional, helpful , mannerly, and actually listen and care about there customers, while being on top of there game at there job, I think the reviews speak for themselves

Great store. RI remains a strong credit to the retail sector. Truly pleased with the product quality and in-store exp. (Online or in-store shopping a role CS model)

Another fashion shop with very similar stuff on display. However, I suppose we can?t complain too much, at least it hasn?t been bought over and turned into an ?online? shop.

Absolutely appalled by staff today in the shop, I was in store with my family purchasing a dress for an occasion. Two members of staff, male and female stood watching me as I shopped and it made me very uncomfortable and they made it very obvious they were watching me and talking about me. I said to my partner am I being ridiculous or are am I being watched ? For my partner to respond that I was indeed not being ridiculous, as he noticed it too. I was so upset as I was about to spend alot of money but I put my items back and left the shop. Never in my life have I ever been made to feel this way in a store but I definitely will not be back and they lost a sale today due to this. Also put a complaint in to head office regarding this.

Security man at front door is a true gentleman. I have difficulty going downstairs. He cheerfully escorted me to the lift & made sure I knew how to access coming back up again - especially with my purchases.Well done & thanks ?

Awful service. Nobody at the kids till but they refused to serve me. I went to the other queue and after 20 minutes waiting there were six people in front of me so I left without a purchase. You're losing customers this way.

I adore shopping - and although I am on a budget the overall shopping experience you receive at the flagship store in argyle street keeps me coming back year after year. From workwear to family parties this store has never failed to come up with the perfect outfit for the occasion. Friendly staff who always do their best to accommodate my requirements and go that extra mile to make sure that I have the right size, Friendly service and most importantly budget friendly whilst delivering the quality akin to luxury brands.
