MGM timber - open to the public and it's cheaper and friendlier than the big DIY retailer with the orange logo. Picked up some primed facing and timber for framing a door. Banter at the desk when paying was a bonus.

Paul from MGM Timber delivered a set of hardwood ply and battens to our house. It was on time and complete. Lovely chap that gave a strong hand moving the heavy pieces inside. Service was excellent, strongly recommended.

I have bought timber from MGM on a few occasions now and they have always been helpful, friendly and efficient. Every time they have offered better prices than advertised and delivery has been quick, on time and the drivers help unload. Why would you go to B&Q?
