This is a pleasant place, with what seems like nicely reclaimed wood tables and paneling. More important is the outstanding service coupled with delicious food. Our fillets were perfectly prepared, with a subtle rub that enhanced, rather than smothered, the flavor of the beef. If we lived in Scotland, we would be regulars here.

Being visually impaired I depend on staff allot. But the two young men working the night we went were awesome. Funny charming. The food was unbelievably good! The chef is a brilliant cook! Would highly recommend for a meal drinks and a down to earth atmosphere

Hidden gem in Glasgow
Very delicious and quality meat cooked to perfection, attentive stuff, we had special requests which were accommodated 100%

Finding this restaurant felt like finding a gem in Glasgow that we visited twice.
Thanks to our great hostess Kelly who made sure we got exactly what we wanted.
The chef was extremely talented in using high-quality local Scottish ingredients to make delicious food.

Outstanding service, food is very good and prices are in line with quality. Would highly recommend, it is also very close to cinema and pubs for after but a little out the way in terms of foot traffic.

Not impressed. We asked if we could eat here without a reservation at about 6:30pm on a Tuesday. The young man inside shouted at my partner and was rude in such a way that we left as I was shocked and annoyed at his utter lack of manners. We were on our adventure in to Glasgow centre and our first bar experience was just awful. The Meat Bar would last 2 minutes with that kind of attitude in Middlesbrough. But thank you for being horrible Meat Bar because we ended up finding the "Howlin Wolf" which had amazing music and the food was fantastic.

Richard and Kelly (and the chef) were fantastic. Warm welcome, beautiful restaurant, great food and drink suggestions, and the steak was perfect. Haggis bon bons not to be missed out on. Thank you for a lovely experience guys.

Best steaks in Glasgow. We?ve tried sirloin, fillet, t-bone and cote de boeuf. All perfectly cooked to our request and very tasty. Paired with great selection of wines, the white Malbec in particular we had on two visits! Service if very friendly but not intrusive. Five stars all round.

Excellent meat! perfect cooking. Very friendly welcome. And cocktails, at the top! but vegetarians won't be left out either because the halloumi burgers were excellent.
A very good address in Glasgow that we recommend.
