Woman at front of house is oblivious to any kind of customer service 'welcome'. Unapproachable and rude. Too busy to say hi or offer any help.

I awoke this morning to find that I had bruising around my left eye, no pain, itch, or tightness and still had full vision. Yes a bit random, however, 'thought it should be looked at by an optician. I popped in to my local optician, McCabes, in the off chance I could be seen. Not immediately, however, someone would phone me re possible appointment today. A few hours later I got contacted re an appointment. I attended and Emma listened well to what I was attending regarding. She then gave me a full eye examination and advised me that there was nothing sinister and therefore nothing to concern myself with. Emma advised me of the possible reason and advised me of how to deal with the bruising over the next few days. Yes,I was very relieved. An excellent experience and will no reservations contacting McCabes should I require their expertise again. 10/10 ?

Great service and prices. Eye test on Tuesday and early Thursday glasses - and I have an especially difficult prescription so I was pleasantly surprised by this. Staff very attentive, eye test was well done. Would definitely recommend

Fell and broke glasses Tuesday morning. Managed to get a cancellation in the afternoon , and glasses (2 pair) we're ready for collection today (Thursday) after 5pm !!!!!!! Have used McCabe's for years and would highly recommend them. Absolutely fabulous, friendly, hastle free service . Prices very reasonable too ???

Recently had an optical emergency 24 hrs before flying out on holiday, my rimless frames broke so I visited Mc Cabes late Friday afternoon and technician told me that my frames would have to be sent away for repair but if I picked another frame from display he would put lenses in straight away and it would only take 15 mins, I asked how much it would cost me and he replied " free of charge"Couldn't believe the service I received from Mc Cabes opticians, absolutely fantastic. When I returned from holiday I popped into to collect repaired frames and was told that there would be no charge for repair. Would highly recommend these guys for great customer service !!!!!!
