I recently purchased some cheese from this branch of M&S which I found was passed its ?use by? date and when opened was clearly not edible. These things happen so I chucked it in the bin.
A few days later I was back in the store and decided to get a fresh pack of the same cheese. To my surprise I found another two packs which were well over their use by date. I took them to a member of staff at the till area and explained. This individual was down right rude and dismissive towards me to the extent that I left the store feeling embarrassed and upset.
I messaged M&S customer service but they were disinterested and clearly hadn?t even read my message properly.
I remember when you couldn?t beat M&S for quality or service. Unfortunately that?s no longer the case.

Appalling customer service. Gave me wrong parcels at pick up and refused to deal with it when I returned the wrong items. Manager refused to speak to me. Was advised to call Customer Services who refused to deal with it and referred me back to store. Now awaiting a call from a supervisor within 24-48 hours! Meanwhile I have paid for goods not received! And this is 2nd time this has happened. M and S used to be renowned for its customer service but not now.
Update - contacted almost immediately by Craig, sales floor supervisor who was not in store when this incident happened. He very quickly dealt with my problem and was very polite and apologetic.
10 out of 10 to Craig and his quick resolution of the situation.

Great shop. Staff are always extremely helpful and friendly. Just a shame more of them aren't on the tills. The self service area is only suitable for a few items. I actually complained tonight about lack of staff serving. Also disappointing that lots of lovely baked goods are uncovered.

Aldi is next door. So you can do shopping at both places at the same time.Great carpark loads of space.

My first shop visit for over 12 months! I was nervous about going in but the experience was excellent.Shopper numbers are controlled at the door and the store has nice wide aisles so good distancing and no crowding. Usual M\\u0026S quality. All good.

Could so easily be 5 stars, but location of shelf products are forever being moved around the store, making shopping time longer. Now to top things off they have now dismantled the Cafe!\\nI know in the current climate it had to close...temporarily! This is a popular Cafe for sit in \\u0026 takeaway. Very disappointing.

Typical M\\u0026S food store. Good selection, but pricey for the staples. If you time it right (late afternoon) there are usually a few items at half price or better. Staff helpful and pleasant.

One of the bigger stores but shelves empty and shelf life not that great. Alot of items up the next day but think that is across the board with Marks they really should do better as they aren't cheap.
