Every time I go there these days the guy screws up, and then tries to bluster his way out of it. Order a filled roll, he brings bread and then explains he is doing you a favour. Order hot smoked salmon, he brings cold smoked salmon, then explains impatiently that they brought the wrong delivery and he just gave you what he had (without asking). Order a croissant, he rubberizes it in a microwave (without even asking if you want it warmed) and gets really angry when you take it back. So, I have given up even trying. A shame. I had used the place a fair bit previously and the other staff are fine. No idea what is going on with the guy who has been running it most recently. But there are other places locally.

I visited Kothel 300 earlier this week and ordered a cortado and two pastries for takeaway. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing overall.
The cortado wasn?t to my taste, and the cinnamon bun - which I usually enjoy elsewhere - made me feel unwell. The second pastry turned out to be something else entirely: overly sweet and inedible. I realized after I left and opened the takeaway box that they had given me the wrong item, which was frustrating.
While I appreciated the variety of alternative milk options, the rest of the experience didn?t match up. The coffee was ready in about 3 minutes, but the pastries took around 10 minutes, which is a long wait for takeaway, especially since no one mentionedhow much it's take. Meanwhile, the staff seemed more focused on chatting than preparing orders, which felt unprofessional.
To top it off, I found the place overpriced for the quality of both the food and service. Sadly, I don?t think I?ll be giving it another chance.

The staff were excellent. The coffee was incredibly high quality and obvious time is spent to ensure the grind is good. The atmosphere and vibes are good too.

Lovely little cafe, gorgeous decor, good prices, food was absolutely sublime & PET FRIENDLY! I had a latte and a papichulo sandwich it was brilliant and really tasty! I also asked for a pub cup and the dog enjoyed that. Staff were lovely! Definitely come back!

Lovely place to be and in general staff are nice. However one particular staff was so rude and condescending. Funny part was that he started being nice after I spoke back to him in the same tone he used.

In utter amazement this place is still going, live locally and stopped in to grab one croissant to take away, one. £4.50, jaw about hit the floor but I was starving so I thought It?ll be worth it. Didn?t find out for another 10 minutes as they stood me waiting at the till with other punters while they waited to put a croissant in a bag and hand it over, absolutely mental, to top it off I was handed it once prompted not with a pair of tongs into a bag but the staff members hand straight in. £4.50, wait for 10 minutes, big manky hand and to top it off the croissant is barking, supermarkets churn out better.
