Great service staff extremely helpful everything went smoothly from eye test to choosing and fitting glasses. I would definitely recommend going in great testing equipment and amazing choice of frames.

This is not customer service, you are getting downright spoiled! I walked in as my old glasses were very old and well past due renewal, I got an eye test right away which was very professional, only waited 2 weeks, the fitting of new glasses was very smooth and I am very happy with them. Thank you John Lewis team ?????

Great experience at Glasgow. I couldn't look at frames without and appointment at other opticians, which didn't suit me. Happened to be in John Lewis for lunch, browsed a really nice selection of frames with some good advice on size and style. Got fitted in for an eye test straight away and it was very professional. The test was very thorough and second to none. On choosing frames and lenses, they had a relaxed consultative approach with no hard sell. Glasses came quicker than I expected and on pick up, they made sure everything was great before I left.All in all, an excellent experience. Would highly recommend.

Arrived at the opticians in Edinburgh only to be told that I would not get the free eye test I was entitled to in Scotland. The John Lewis website clearly stated that eye tests for customers in Scotland would be free.

More likely than not, you will be served by a lady with red hair who's a nightmare - always short and rude as if she was in a rush and the customer is an annoyance to her (despite this being a high-end store). This is a shame given that otherwise, I would recommend this place: great selection and nice interior.

Discount percentages seemingly plucked out of the air and then changed on a whim. Hidden costs spring up all over the place. The service around the actual eye test was pretty good.

First eye test, didn't feel like I needed one either. Was seen to in good time and made to feel welcome and comfortable.Professional service, calm and not rushed. Time was taken to answer any questions, especially about any of the tests that are run.Would visit again in a heartbeat and would recommend.
