I was in for trainer haul on a fine Tuesday afternoon and I had my eyes on ASICS gel sanoma black ( I knew what I wanted!) there was this sweet young man very polite very helpful asking me if I wanted help, to which I responded yes please! He went above and beyond with the service but there was a snappy manager on push-to-talk bothering him the whole time. At first he asked if I was interested in the shoe I was holding and I can hear the conversation (I am assuming he is watching on camera) the kid got uncomfortable and went away to reply and as he came back I started looking around at other trainers on offer, I tried on three and decided to take two of them. The manager then sent another member of staff to check on us ? then when he came, the radio went on again about the amount of boxes around me then the other member of staff whispered if he could offer help with the boxes to which I responded, please take these boxes to the tills of that solves the issue. The kid felt bad and apologized for that and took the shoes to the tills. At this point I was already feeling so uncomfortable saying my money isn?t good here, but for the sec of that amazing young man who would likely be criticized by his manager I stuck around and went downstairs to regulate myself and look at other sport wear. I bought them shoes and tshirt and left the store but this was unacceptable customer service on the managers side this could be an easy five star experience if it wasn?t for the hateful manager. I got my asics from another store anyways!

Rushed in before the close to get a pair of new balances and the staff members went above and beyond to get the shoes for me, even after the shop was past opening hours. The man that served me on tills was incredibly friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this JD.

Went for trainers,found a pair, left stood around for 25 minutes waiting on a staff member to get my size,no one bothered,gave up and left

NEW JD, SAME TRASH SERVICE ? WHAT A MESS!?
I came to the new JD hoping for a fresh start, but honestly? The staff are just as rude and useless as ever. They ignore you like you?re invisible, acting like they don?t want to be there. It?s embarrassing, honestly.
You?d think a new store means better service, right? Nah, it?s like they rushed the hiring process or didn?t bother training anyone. Whole team just wandering around chatting, no one ready to help, and when you ask something you get attitude or straight-up ignored.
JD, if this is your idea of a ?new? store, you really need to rethink everything. The staff are a mess no manners, no professionalism, no respect for customers.
Do yourselves a favour: redo the whole hiring and training process. Because right now, it?s just embarrassing.
Not coming back.
A disappointed customer who expected better.

i was helped by a LOVELY young woman with curly hair, quite small but was an absolute pleasure, didnt get her name though, to help me with my requests. all my praise goes to her and the shop itself! keep up the good work everyone!

Staff with attitude problems. Feel the need to follow you around like a thief but then take 10 mins to come to the till and look me up and down while I'm standing there then sarcastic eyeballs when I catch her looking me up and down and another 10 to get the security tag off the item . I work for a living so had overalls and boots on not a reason to treat someone like that . Maybe you'll get a real job somewhere some day !.

Literally everything I looked at didn?t have a price. Hairs balls not crystal! Dumped what I had and left. Not into guessing games

I tried three times for fit size and design. Unfortunately, woman staff at fitting room on 15th July at 11am was not happy and made boring face to me. Maybe she doesn't like standing alone in the front of fitting room and unlocking the door for customer? Cashier staff was not welcome and did not show a positive customer service.

Had everything I was looking for, staff helpful and attentive. Only think I would say is not all JD sports hold the same stock of clothes so call before to check brand/product is available at the store you wish to attend.

Decent prices should get bigger sizes though XXL for instance but other than that yeah thats where I like to shop ?
