Tassies is my local and the best pub in Shawlands. The staff are great always on the ball. Karen is a fantastic manager, top class and always looks after us all and her team. Great for food and the best spot for all sport. Highly reccomend

What an experience like no other pub has seen,I mean blown out the water, absolutely great nothing bad to say, I was served and looked after by a Jamie,totally knew the vibe befor we asked for our drinks off him.Did a great job ?

Visited with my husband and my daughter not too long ago. I am quite a fussy eater however Joe behind the bar was incredibly patient with my dietary requirements for the mixed grill. My daughter is also a pescatarian and they were even as kind to substitute the battered sausage on the chip shop platter for a Quorn sausage. Just unheard of, and really shows they go out their way for even the most niche dietary preferences. The food was all cooked immaculately and I really appreciated their going out their way for my fussyness. Beer selection was very good as were the gins on offer. Our dogs were also welcomed with open arms and spoiled with treats and pets. Please do visit if you?re stopping by in Shawlands. Haven?t had a pub grub quite like that for a long time now. - T

Visited with my daughter and wife. Excellent service from the whole team. Karen and Charles are especially diamonds. Drink prices are very good for the area, as some pubs you?re paying as much 4.65 for a pint of Tennents. The mixed grill was absolutely wonderful. As someone who has a South African wife, it was the perfect option for that carnivore. Excellent options for entertainment and when it comes to food, the staff are very on the ball with dietary requirements. Lovely locals and regulars as well. Both staff and regulars were very welcoming of our two golden retrievers who were treated to Glasgows finest water and biscuits. If you?re in Shawlands, please stop by. The best pub. MIXR app also a good bargain, can?t beat a free pint!
