Wonderful service in a very, very busy pub in an historic building.
The Counting House, Wetherspoons pub was a really very large bank.
The architecture, the works of art..... are truly remarkable.

large pub with an incredible selection of drinks and great prices and super friendly staff who give great recommendations. it's very crowded and the tables could use a cleaning, though.

Waited over an hour for food and asked twice where it is and the waiter just said he didn't know and walked away. Quite unhelpful, especially when it wasn't too busy. We got someone else's drinks delivered to our table so I believe someone else got our food or they just forgot our order. Lovely atmosphere though.

What can you say about Witherspoon's....cheap n cheerful.
Our food was decent and the drinks were cheap for city centre......you can't go wrong here.....??
