Took an item back to return for a refund. Waited nearly 20 minutes to get served.
Staff lethargic and showing no interest in helping process refunds quickly.
Must be the worst IKEA on the planet.
Run of the mill canteen feel about it. Service is slow with long queues to get the food at peak times and once you've got it a long wait to pay. By the time you've paid, got cutlery, sauce, napkins and waited for your cup of tea your meal isn't hot anymore.
Sort out all of the above and the place might score better.

Best (flatpack) home store in the world! We bought a white cupboard which came with lots of options, fitted in a large car in the nicely sized parts. Quality products, great prices. Helpful friendly staff, foods good for eat in and takeaway shop, easy walkaround. Fabulous displays, self service screens in pick up warehouse, easy to find products, a recycle area, option for home delivery, large flat carpark. Charge points for EVs. Other big shops compliment it locally in a nearby retail park. Not easily walkable for most. Immaculate store.

Veggie chilli dogs

Stopped off here to get some items on the way back to north of Scotland. Bought some delicate items and the assistant said if you want to wrap these in paper there's a desk up there with wrapping paper. There was a desk, string but no wrapping paper. The last time we were here it was the same. An IKEA assistant with a word in Swedish on the back of his shirt ( I think it means help or hello) passed by. I asked him about the lack of paper. He said best speak to someone in customer services ????. Definitely a self service establishment now. Next thing you know I'll need to start unpacking the boxes from the lorries or cutting the wood to size myself. Not impressed ?

Usually love ikea. Furniture shopping and other furnishing, etc fab. Till or not self scan, absolute riot and the liyyle shop is a disaster. Had to go to the takeaway till to pay for shop goods and irate parents waiting on orders for an eternity, antsy and poor fellow on the till was exasperated and so apologetic, but overwhelmed was not the word.
