We had been to this restaurant previously and had a nice experience, the food is good it's spacious, with a nice outdoor area, we came in with our family of 5 adults and 4 children, and we were offered to move the table into the corner as it would be a bit easier for the kids. We started doing this (to help, and keep out of the way) and the owner came out with a horrid, condescending tone saying that it's his restaurant and he moves the furniture.
We can respect that, it's your space you own it, but the owners tone was despicable. He spoke to my fiancé like she wasn't worth being in the restaurant, we left and have taken our business elsewhere and won't be back. I hope he can find a kinder way of speaking to his customers in the future. Horrible experience overall, especially when we are with our kids just looking for some lunch.
For clarity, the staff that work there are lovely, just the owner that sullied the experience.

Food was very mediocre for the price, two bits of halloumi in a £9 sandwich, ciabatta sandwich was quite sparse and soup was not flavourful. Brioche was far too oily.

My daughter was served a cappacino and halfway through drinking it she noticed a large 'bogey' or 'snotter' in her cup. She's not very confident, but was truly sickened by this understandably. She decided to phone the manager today, as he wasn't there yesterday. After politely telling him that we normally enjoyed our visits there, she told him her unfortunate experience and instead of an apology he was extremely rude and told her she was wrong and would get no
apology from him. She was really upset and we certainly will never be back now.
Disgusting attitude altogether!

The place was lovely to visit, the food was excellent and the interior was interesting to look at with painting featured on the walls, spend some time in the artists mind while you enjoy some food. The only thing that bothered me a little was the dampness and mould from the walls nearby the bathroom walls upstairs. You can pick seats to face this issue.

Ooft. I was looking to kill an hour whilst my car got a service and took a chance on this as it seemed busy. The full breakfast was perfect then I had probably the best carrot cake of my life. The rest of the cakes look good as well. Having a look at the other tables, all the food seems nice. The service was brilliant. Unfortunately I couldn't stop eating the carrot cake to take a picture.

Went in for a brunch and were told it would be a wee wait for our food as it was v busy but we were happy to wait. Server couldn?t have been any lovelier and gave us our drinks for free for waiting. Thank you for being so cute ?.

Was here 08/12/24, staff were all lovely and accommodating - very quick service. Toilets super clean, and tasty food. Really recommend coming here :)

I met a friend here today. What a lovely cosy place. The 2 trendy young ladies were so friendly and the cook made a great bacon roll. Worth a visit

Lovely serving staff, very nice, fresh food and interesting artwork on the walls. Bonus points for being dog friendly. Will definitely visit again when I this area.
