I used this hotel to support a Sporting event. The rooms are nice, I enjoyed the bar area to relax in after the six hour journey. Breakfast was good as it had everything. It is a taxi journey from Glasgow central but it did not cost too much. I will go again to this hotel.

We stayed here for 1 night to go to a Gig nearby. The location was perfect. The hotel exceeded expectations in comfort and professionalism. The room was large and comfy with good facilities. The hotel bar is lovely and has a good atmosphere that evening. Plenty of places to eat nearby. The parking nearby is only £8 for 24 hours of you ask reception to validate your ticket too.

We stayed here in February on a family holiday. Staff were friendly, and I will say David the receptionist definitely deserves a promotion. Before we arrived, he was super helpful and helped to amend our booking due to change in flight date.Room was clean and the housekeepers worked hard to keep it clean. The sofa bed could have been better though but I guess sofa bed aren't as comfy as standard bed.Good range of breakfast and enough food for everyone even to the last minute of breakfast time.The gym has Modern equipment and was not busy.The hotel is a walking distance to bus stops, shops and restaurants.We will definitely stay here again.

Brilliant stay made memorable for the excellent customer service that I received from the wonderful team at the Novotel Glasgow who were extremely efficient, professional and, above all, friendly, always striving to go that extra mile to make mine and other guests residence the finest that it could be, which they achieved with great success.Located on the edge of the city centre, the hotel is well positioned for the cities attractions, shopping and nightlife including some great restaurants and bars.I have stayed in far superior Novotel rooms, these were a little bland in terms of décor and outlook, yet they we wonderfully clean, yet the old television was a disappointment.Having said that I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Spent a long weekend at Novotel and it was absolutely wonderful. Staff were very friendly, professional and greeted me every time with a lovely smile. My room was very clean and quite spacious for 2 people. Breakfast buffet had a little something for everybody (even breakfast cereals!).The location of the hotel is perfect and almost everything was within walking distance.I will definitely come back to Novotel for my next trip to Glasgow.

Basic hotel which is in a less than salubrious part of the city buried down a side street. Very run down inside and in need of a huge overhaul with a lot of money spent on. The bed was comfortable however and the rooms were quiet. Breakfast was probably the worst I've ever had anywhere.Rooms: Run down and in need of refurbishment. Some of the lights didn't work, the walls were peeling and the water pressure in the shower was poor. Walking down the corridor some wiring ducts were open and carpet was lifting.Food & drinks: Only had breakfast. Orange juice was watered down and vaguely orange coloured. The hotel food had obviously been microwaved. The bacon was utterly tasteless and covered in fat. The scrambled egg had a hard crust on it. The potato falls were light brown from the fat dripping off them. Unappealing. The coffee machine only gave half cups and it tasted like reused beans.
