“My happy place! Massive store with garden, sheet wood cutting service, tradepoint and building area. Rows of well ordered and stocked shelves of construction DIY materials faced up. Everything from hot tubs, Bbqs, lawmowers, to: lights, saws, plasterboard, bricks and slug killer. Big flat carpark with easy access. Trolleys in good shape, staff are always a delight.”

“I first made a purchase with Lighting World Home Furnishings in 2021. I initially contacted the store via Facebook regarding purchasing 2 highland cow ornaments.As the store was local to me, rather than just get the ornaments sent out to me I decided to go into the store to make my purchase.On entering the store we were greeted by the owner of the store who was friendly and welcoming. Harry showed complete interest in us and our purchases. He allowed us to peruse and in the end we also purchased a large highland cow print and smaller giraffe print - both of which we have love and have had a number of compliments on.During our conversation with Harry he advised that if we had a special image that we would like printed and framed then he could arrange this for us. As our wedding was coming up in November 2021, I kept this in mind.After our wedding and upon receipt of our wedding images I contacted Harry to check that this would still be possible. To show how much Harry values his customers he not only remembered my husband and I but he could also remember our conversation and also what we had purchased from him previously.Harry has not only had our print enlarged and framed but he even managed to get glitter art added to the image. We collected our picture a few weeks ago and are totally in love with the final result. We were both absolutely blown away. It is stunning and so many of our friends and family have commented on our pictures. We also purchased a further picture from him which we fell in love with.Both my husband and I cannot recommend Harry and his lovely wife highly enough. If you have an image or picture or idea then Harry will try his absolute best to meet and exceed your expectations. I find Harry respectful, friendly and engaging who does his absolute best to please his customers.I would highly recommend Lighting World Home Furnishings to anyone looking for that statement or individual piece for their home!”

“This shop has been in existence for a very long time in various incarnations. Once called Texas, then Hombase proper then following a time when it could easily have closed, it survived as a scaled back and restructured Homebase.Many of the Staff are locals and have worked at the store for 30yrs plus and are the most helpful and amazingly dedicated people. The younger generation of Staff also follow this lead and you are always guaranteed a smile. We'll almost always but we all have a bad day once in a while.Anyone who has a desire to complain about this store would do well to remember that it is a trusted and valued local outlet and if it wasn't there many folks would struggle to get to B&Q or other stockists. With online ordering and click and collect, you are able to pick up pretty much whatever you need.B&Q are sometimes cheaper because of economies of scale but are always on the edge of town.I have always been very impressed by the levels of product knowledge and customer care shown by the team and I shop there whenever I need DIY goods.Great store.Great staff.Great all round experience.”

“Bought double bed silver crushed velvet and mattress on saturday 9th september bed was deliverd on monday 11th september and delivery people were very good at job.must say this any company is also judged on mistakes beand how they fix them and i can say jupiter furniture were more than helpful they arrived on tueday uplifted bed and put another in its place right away due to small issue so thats great service i say id recomend jupiter furniture to any9ne as its first class service”

“It’s surprisingly huge once you step across the threshold. Prices are pretty reasonable. I wouldn’t really go asking staff for recommendations tho as when I asked for gloss paint I was looked at as if I had two heads. To be worked on is the website. You can find all the stuff on google but then trying to get the same product on the website is impossible. Zero filters. So outdated. If you want to buy best go in store”
