Having popped in and out of this shop in Byers Road for years, I was spoken to really rudely by one of the staff today while enquiring about stock that seemed sold out. I decided to leave my planned purchase and go elsewhere. I was perfectly polite, and quite taken aback. Having read some similar reviews, I see people have had similar and worse experiences and will avoid this branch in future.

Been here on two separate occasions and was treated by the same staff who treated us differently from other customers. Pure racism. The ones in Buchanan Galleries and Sauchiehall street has been really welcoming unlike this one. Would not return again.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, check the expiry date when buy products from this store. I have purchased a BCAA (Amino Acid) powder over £20 on 04/12/2023 afternoon along with some more products. I started taking the BCAA in mid December at most two-three servings a week as I don?t go to the gym everyday. In mid January 2024 started to feel sick (stomach ache) badly. I stopped taking the protein and BCAA. I went to the pharmacy two nights ago and explained what product I have been taking. We checked the products, the protein was from another company and absolutely fine. The BCAA I bought on the 04/12/2023, has EXPIRED before the 11/2023!!!! I referred to the store today on 02/02/2024 around 5:30pm. The same lady who served me on December to buy the products was there. At the start, I was in the queue, she was trying to not to serve me until the other customer told her that it was my turn, anyway. I explained what happened, she was trying to deny it until I showed her the bank transaction. Again she asked me that she can?t do anything about it and I had to refer to them earlier!!! This is absolutely DISGUSTING. Keeping an expired product on the shelf till the last minute even after expiring, trying to sell it and play with people?s HEALTH for £20. On the day that I bought the products, she was helpful, however, today, I am not happy with her response regarding something REALLY REALLY important. She also mentioned they had sold around 25 or 26 of this expired one and nothing happened to them!!!!! I trusted and bought the product, hoping at least it had had one or two year time to be taken, not buying an expired product I wish it was all. There is another product, MULTIVITS&MINERALS ABC-Z, it doesn?t have any batch No, neither an expiry date. I have contacted customer service and they advised me to take the product to the store. The lady didn?t accept this one too, because I didn?t have any receipt for the past few months that I bought it. I contacted the customer service immediately and explained it, they said we can?t see the record of your email. The night before they found my email, but, the morning after, they said no. Racism comes first always, SHAME ON YOU ALL.This is awful. I will definitely disclose it with where it needs to be disclosed.

Been shopping with this company for years and years always had the nicest of experiences until the Byres road shop and the manager Claire. She was unfriendly rude and aggressive didn?t even try to help me embarrassed me in front of other customers absolutely disgraceful customer service she should not be working near customers when I asked to speak to a manager as she stormed off she said I am the manager her eyes were bulging she was so belittling towards me and said I was a liar and refused to serve me so I said I would call customer services and complain I said she said good luck. She is a horrible woman and so fake and dramatic I was actually a little scared. Called head office they were wonderful. I can see similar reviews I bet it?s the same woman hope they see the pattern.

I'm disgusted the way I was treated today Friday the 12th may 2023 13:30 at this store by the staff, she was very very rude and bully-tilling me, I have purchased few items worth £113 excluding discounts, the main issue is when I purchased one of the mix and match deal, after the transaction was processed, I asked if I can change one of the items by another same one just bigger size and the price would stay the same, she clearly replied yes and rudely breathed saying but I would have to refund everything and do it again, i replied yes please, so she went ahead and did it and once it was done the price was different, I said you told me the price will stay the same, she replied I didn't know??? Then I said it's too much I need to get the first deal then because the price has changed, she called her manager because something went wrong with the till, and when her manager came I was trying to explain to her the situation she was shutting me off by saying I know what happened you have changed your mind, she clearly put the blame on me listening to one side of the story, therefore her manager was as bad as her, I never came across unhelpful and rude staff like these 2 in my whole life anywhere in the world. I been a costumer for Holland and Barrett for many years and I usually use the one in SAUCHIHALL street Glasgow, I never had a problem like this and the staff over there always friendly and helpful.I will unsubscribe from the news letter and never ever go to Holland and Barrett again.

The two members of staff were very helpful. I used the online click and collect facility and my purchase was found immediately.

The customer services here is a nightmare. One of the staff is so rude. Her name is Claire, She said she is this shop's manager. HB should not have this type of manager.

Shop needs good clean & dust. Picked up my product which was dirty & very dusty. Shelves not much better, inch or two of dust/debris. Had to ask cashier to wipe down/spray clean my product. Was greeted with a bewildered look ? explained the dust could agitate cintact dermatitis. Not the friendliest of staff either on this occasion & others ?
